Wheels affect how your board rides more than most hardware decisions. Diameter determines how fast you roll and how quickly you accelerate. Durometer (hardness) determines grip, slide and surface compatibility. Getting both right for how and where you skate makes a real difference.
Hard wheels (99a–101a) are faster on smooth surfaces and better for technical street skating and skate parks. Softer wheels (78a–87a) absorb rough concrete and cracks — better for cruising, rough city streets and bowl skating. Mid-range (88a–95a) covers most general street and park use.
We stock Spitfire, OJ, Bones, Ricta, Pig, Powell Peralta and more across every size and hardness. If you're replacing worn wheels or building a new setup and want a recommendation, come in or message us — it's a quick conversation.
