Ratbone II in 95a: narrow, fast and ready for anything.
This 58mm Dragon wheel uses Powell's Rat Bone II shape in 95a. It's for skaters who like a taller wheel for parks and transition but want a narrow, light profile that still works on the street.
The Rat Bone II is symmetrical with a narrow ride patch: 33mm wide with a 16.5mm contact width. Powell says 95A Dragons handle rough terrain while giving the grip and slide of 99A or 101A wheels, with up to 20% more rebound than standard hard wheels.

About Powell Peralta
Powell Peralta was founded in 1978 by engineer George Powell and skater Stacy Peralta in Santa Barbara, California. Powell had already been baking his own urethane wheels and building his own boards since the mid 1970s, and in 1979 the pair formed the Bones Brigade, the team that included Ray "Bones" Rodriguez, Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Rodney Mullen, Tommy Guerrero and Mike Vallely.
Today Powell Peralta still puts a big focus on urethane research and its own wheel formulas. Dragon Formula covers street and park, while Soft Slide Formula (SSF) covers cruising, freeride and downhill. Riders pick Powell because the wheels last, roll fast and slide when you want them to, and because the brand has been part of skating for close to five decades.

What are Rat Bone II Dragon wheels best for?
Park and transition skating that also covers rough streets. The 58mm size carries speed, the narrow shape slides easily, and the 95a Dragon urethane smooths out bad concrete.
What does 95A mean?
95A is the hardness on the A scale. It's softer than a typical 99A park wheel, so it's smoother on rough ground, but Dragon Formula keeps the grip and slide of a harder wheel.
Will 58mm wheels fit my board or do I need risers?
58mm fits most popsicle decks on mid or high trucks. With low trucks or a loose setup, add a 1/8" riser to avoid wheel bite.
Do they come with bearings?
No. You get a set of 4 wheels with no bearings. Any standard 608 skateboard bearing fits, so you'll need a set of 8 (two per wheel), plus spacers if your bearings don't have them built in.
