Chocolate Skateboards is Girl's sister brand and a skate institution in its own right — the same Crailtap quality and skater ownership, with its own distinct identity, deep team and classic graphics. At Twelve Board Store and SoCal Skates we carry the Chocolate range, in stock and shipping free Australia-wide.
Chocolate was launched in 1994 by Mike Carroll and Rick Howard as the sister brand to Girl, under the Crailtap roof. It built its own legendary team — riders like Chico Brenes, Gino Iannucci, Kenny Anderson and more — and its own visual identity, from the original "chunk" logo to the long-running artist series. Like Girl, it's skater-owned and quality-obsessed, and its videos sit among the most-watched in skate history.
What Chocolate Is Known For
Chocolate makes high-quality popsicle decks across team models and signature graphics, with the same reliable pop and construction as its Crailtap stablemate. The brand has a slightly more artful, character-driven graphic identity. A solid, credible pick for street and all-round skating.
Belts are amazing, better price than direct from Exway (Don't deal with Exway) these belts thicker and more durable than the OEM ones too! Highly recommend.
