FlightRisk builds performance fat-tyre e-bikes for riders who want more — full suspension, hydraulic brakes, and a range that runs from the FR303 through to the high-output FR777. Serious spec, serious presence. We stock FlightRisk in Melbourne with demo bikes to ride, assemble and safety-check every bike in our workshop, and Frosty handles service, parts and warranty 7 days.
Why FlightRisk
FlightRisk is about performance and capability. The range is built around fat tyres for grip and stability, suspension for comfort over rough ground, and hydraulic disc brakes for strong, reliable stopping — the components that matter on a faster, heavier bike. With models scaling from the approachable FR303 up to the powerful FR777, there's a FlightRisk for everything from confident commuting to off-road fun. It's a brand for riders who want spec that punches hard.
The FlightRisk Range
- FR303 / FR333: the more accessible entry into the range — fat-tyre capability and FlightRisk build at a sharper price point.
- FR505 / FR555: the popular mid-range — a strong balance of power, range and features for most riders.
- FR666 / FR777: the high-output performance models — maximum power and capability for off-road and private-land riding.
- Accessories & spares: mirrors, phone holders, covers and protection to kit out and protect your bike.
The model numbers scale with power and capability — and with road-legal considerations (see below). Tell us how and where you'll ride and we'll match the right one.
How to Choose Your FlightRisk
- Intended use: on-road commuting vs off-road and private-land fun drives which model and power level is right (and its legal status).
- Motor power: determines hill performance and road-legal status in Australia — we'll match it to your use.
- Battery & range: bigger battery, more range; claimed figures are best-case, so expect less with hills, rider weight and throttle use.
- Suspension & brakes: full suspension and hydraulic brakes across the range add comfort and stopping power — worth having on a capable fat-tyre bike.
Australian Road Rules
In Australia an e-bike is only road-legal as a bicycle if it meets specific power and control limits (generally 250W, pedal-assist). The FlightRisk range includes road-legal-compliant models as well as higher-powered models intended for off-road and private-land use. Which is right depends on where and how you'll ride, and the rules vary by state and do change. Not sure which FlightRisk is road-legal for your situation? Talk to us before you buy — we'll make sure you get the right one.
Battery Care & Safety
Charge with the supplied charger, avoid long-term storage fully flat or fully charged, don't charge unattended overnight, and keep it out of extreme heat. Genuine product from an authorised dealer means a battery you can trust — a key reason to buy local on a purchase like this.

Every FlightRisk is professionally assembled and safety-checked in our workshop before you ride it, and backed by genuine warranty plus Frosty's in-house service, repairs and spare parts — 7 days a week in Richmond. See our service and repairs page.
