splitboarding
Splitboard bindings are a distinct category from resort snowboard bindings. They need to do two things a resort binding never does — release from the board cleanly for the tour mode, attach securely to the splitboard's touring brackets for the uphill, and then lock back into a riding position for the descent. The mechanism matters as much as the flex and strap quality.
The two dominant systems are Spark R&D and Jones, with Karakoram offering a premium direct-clip alternative and Burton rounding out the range. Spark R&D's Phantom and Arc bindings are the most widely used splitboard binding in Australia and globally — the puck system is fast, reliable and compatible with a wide range of splitboard touring brackets.
Compatibility is the first thing to confirm before buying splitboard bindings. Your splitboard needs to have the correct touring bracket inserts for the binding system you choose. We can confirm compatibility for your specific board before you buy.
Free shipping Australia-wide. Come into our Richmond store or call us before ordering if you are not certain about compatibility.
