Electric Skateboard Helmets

A quality helmet is non-negotiable for electric skateboard riding. Electric boards travel at speeds where a fall without a helmet carries real consequences — and a fall at 30km/h on a shared path is a meaningfully different event to a fall off a regular skateboard at walking pace.

The helmets in this collection are rated for electric skateboard and cycling speeds. What that means practically: higher impact certification (EN 1078 or equivalent), more coverage at the rear and sides of the head than a standard skateboard helmet, and ventilation designed for sustained riding sessions at speed rather than short skateboard runs.

Half-shell helmets are the standard for urban electric skateboard commuting and recreational riding. Coverage from the forehead to the base of the skull, ventilated for riding in Australian conditions, compatible with goggles and sunglasses for outdoor riding.

Full-face helmets for off-road, higher-speed or more aggressive riding. More protection but less ventilation. The right choice for Onewheel trail riding, off-road e-skating or any context where the consequences of a fall are more severe.
