longboarding

Longboard wheels are larger, softer and shaped differently to skateboard wheels — designed to roll over rough surfaces smoothly, grip through carves and push efficiently over long distances. Getting the right wheel for how you ride makes a real difference to how the board feels.
For cruising and commuting: 70–80mm diameter, 78a–80a hardness. Rolls over cracks and rough paths without jarring, grips well in wet conditions, easy to push. For carving and downhill: 70–75mm, 80a–86a. Faster and more slideable at speed. For dancing and freestyle: smaller diameter in the 60–65mm range to keep the deck low and responsive.
We stock Orangatang, Sector 9, Abec 11, Landyachtz and more across the size and hardness spectrum.
