The Powell Peralta Nano Rat Dragon Formula Wheels at 88A are the softest and most terrain-forgiving wheel in the Nano Rat lineup — built on the same asymmetrical AV6 shape and the same decade-long Dragon Formula urethane as the 93A and 97A, but tuned for maximum comfort over the roughest surfaces you can find. Cracked footpaths, chip seal, cobblestones, debris-laden streets — the 88A Nano Rat absorbs all of it and keeps rolling where a harder wheel would rattle your teeth and kill your speed. This is the wheel for skaters who want to cover ground fast, skate everything on the way to a spot, and still have a wheel that slides and performs when they get there.
The Nano-Rat asymmetrical shape puts both sides of the wheel to work — a familiar radial outer edge on the outside, a lock-in radial inner edge on the inside, and centre-set bearings that keep your setup balanced without changing the feel underfoot.
