FLUX was born in 1992 with the concept of "the best binding for Japanese feet". Over the last 30 years they've cemented themselves as one of the best performing and reliable bindings in the industry.
The CV is Flux's main carving binding, stiff and designed to transfer maximum power from your feet to the board edge.
The heel cup is 1.5cm higher than other models, improving operability and effectively preventing drag. With its extensive adjustment functions, it is now possible to make detailed settings to suit various situations and skiing styles.
Since last year, we have changed the high back to super tough nylon, which has tenacity and durability, which has expanded the range of motion, and increased the thickness of the lower part, which has improved response and created a binding that is both responsive and movable. .
In addition, Boost FootOn, which is 4mm higher than the regular footbed, enables even quicker turning and stable edging.
Buffalo Highback
It is characterized by two pillars that look like buffalo horns. Supports the flat high back surface from both sides.
Super Tough Nylon
Medium flex material suitable for all-round use from low speed to high speed, beginner to expert.
Redux Lean Adjuster
Lighter due to smaller size. Easily adjustable with one action.
Micro Adjuster
If you move it forward one memory, it will lean forward approximately 2.5 degrees. More detailed high back settings are possible.
Super Transfer Baseplate
Thanks to the heel cup, which is approximately 15mm higher than the transfer base, the backside response is an order of magnitude higher. Also, it is difficult to drag.
Performance Blend
Medium flex for most all-round use. Compatible with all riding scenes.
Boost FootOn
The footbed has a cushion height that is 4mm higher than the previous FootOn. It prevents drag when turning, improves response when turning, and absorbs small vibrations. Of course, the surface is made of material that prevents snow from sticking.
Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushion
Movable cushion that allows adjustment of toe side and heel site to suit boot size and board width.
4Corner Stabilizer
The stabilizer firmly and gently transmits the powerful power generated by the height heel cup to the board.
5Holes Highback rotation
Five highback mounting holes that allow rotation at both foot swing angles.
Super Tough Nylon
Medium flex material suitable for all-round use from low speed to high speed, beginner to expert.
UU Fit
A system that wraps the boots from 360° by attaching a strap belt between the heel cup and the high back. This provides a natural holding feeling and equalization of pressure.
Multi Disc
Multi-disc that can be installed on either 4x4 or 2H. It is also possible to install it by shifting it by 5mm or 10mm from front to back or from side to side.
Toolless Lever
The best settings can be made without tools. Comes with a stopper to prevent screws from loosening.

About Snowboard Bindings — Buying Guide
Bindings are the most underestimated part of your snowboard setup. Most riders spend weeks choosing a board and minutes choosing bindings — but bindings are the complete communication layer between your body and your board. Every turn you initiate, every edge you engage, every carve and press travels from your boots through your bindings to the board. Get this right and you'll never think about them again. Get it wrong and it's all you'll think about all day.
At Twelve Board Store we stock bindings from Burton, Ride, K2, Nitro, Flux, Salomon, Jones, Rome, Bent Metal and Nidecker — covering traditional strap, Burton Step On® and Supermatic rear-entry systems across all price points and riding styles.
Sizing — every brand is different: Boot size drives binding size, but S/M/L/XL means something different across every brand. Burton Small runs US 3–6. Flux Small runs US 4–6. Nitro Small runs US 5–6. Never assume your size is the same brand to brand — check the sizing chart for each binding before you buy. When you're between sizes, go smaller. A snug binding fits better than a loose one every time.
Systems: Traditional strap bindings work with every boot and offer the widest range of options and price points. Burton Step On® requires specific compatible Burton boots — three contact points click in when you step on the board, no straps, completely different experience for resort riders doing laps. Supermatic rear-entry (Nidecker OG, Nidecker LT, Bent Metal Lightning) folds the highback down for faster entry without the boot compatibility requirement of Step On.
Setup matters: Once you have the right binding, set it up correctly. Boot centred toe-to-heel over the board edge. Toe strap centred across the widest part of your toe box — not on your toes. Ankle strap centred across the top of your ankle. Straps firm but not crushing. If you need to over-tighten to stop heel lift, the binding is too large.
Not sure which binding suits your setup? Call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us at 435A Bridge Road Richmond, or contact us online. We'll match you to the right binding for your boot, your board and how you ride.
