I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.

BORN FROMA LOVE OF TURNING

Korua started with a group of friends from the Alps, travelling snowboard nerds in their 30s. On a trip to Japan in 2012 they found a snow-surf culture building boards for deep powder, and it matched the way they liked to ride.

When the chance came to start their own brand, they built boards that are easy to ride in the Alps and turn exceptionally well: a sidecut that carves hard groomers, and a shape that floats through powder. They still share that passion through their film series, Yearning For Turning.

Shapes like the Otto, Dart, Pencil and Transition Finder run Float Camber: camber underfoot for grip on firm snow and pop, curving into a rocker shape in the nose. The early rise makes turns easy to start and keeps the nose up when it gets deep.

The Cafe Racer runs Full Camber for extra stability and maximum grip, with a smooth transition into the nose for float and a stiff, supportive tail to drive through carves.

Korua shapes are generally wider than most traditional snowboards, which gives them a unique turning feel without boot drag.

Korua says sizing down is a misconception. Newer riders should ride true to size, while intermediate and advanced riders can size up by 2 to 10cm depending on the shape. The Otto, Transition Finder and Dart ride closer to true to size, and we're happy to size you up in store or over the phone.

CLASSICAND PLUS

Classic Line boards like the Otto, Dart and Transition Finder use a Poplar Light wood core, biaxial fibreglass and a premium sintered base, for a lively flex and a more damp ride.

Plus boards are lighter, more responsive and torsionally stiffer, using hybrid carbon fibre and a blended paulownia and poplar core. The Cafe Racer Plus adds a Titanal layer to absorb high-speed vibration and increase edge hold. Boards like the Otto, Dart and Cafe Racer also come with a choice of classic gloss or a brushed polyamide topsheet that is lighter, more durable and naturally sheds snow.

What size Korua board do I need?
Don't automatically size down. Korua recommends newer riders ride true to size, while intermediate and advanced riders can size up by 2 to 10cm depending on the shape. The Otto, Transition Finder and Dart ride closer to true to size. Check our Korua size charts, or come in and we'll size you up.
What is Float Camber?
Float Camber is camber underfoot for pop and carving grip, curving into a rocker shape in the nose. The early rise makes turns easier to start and helps the nose stay up in deeper snow.
What's the difference between Classic and Plus?

What bindings and boots should I pair with my Korua?
