Take It Everywhere

The Lib Tech Orca II 2027 is the apex predator of all-mountain freeride — redesigned to be faster, smoother, and more capable across the entire resort. Built by Lib Tech / Mervin MFG in collaboration with Travis Rice, the Orca II features an all-new refined shape, longer float-focused nose, and an even more eco-responsible construction. This volume-shifted powerhouse is designed to dominate powder days while still railing groomers and carving with authority when conditions firm up.

A longer directional nose combined with a setback stance delivers effortless float in deep snow, while the lightweight HPONH Makah Hemlock core and tight sidecut give the Orca II exceptional edge-to-edge speed and carving precision. The Orca C2x Directional camber profile balances power, control, and float, making this board equally at home on overseas powder missions or ripping Australian resort terrain. If you want one board that thrives everywhere, the Orca II lives up to its name.

Why Ride the Lib Tech Orca II?
✅ Volume-Shifted Design – Ride this board 3–6cm shorter than your regular length for quicker response and maximum float.
✅ Tapered Directional Shape – Longer nose and narrower tail enhance control, stability, and deep-snow performance.
✅ Orca C2x Directional Camber – Lengthened camber zones with a shortened rocker nose for precision, power, and float.
✅ Magne-Traction® Edges – Seven serrated contact points deliver unreal edge hold in icy and variable conditions.
✅ HPONH Makah Hemlock Core – Poppy, lightweight, and damp with sustainably sourced Native Hemlock and Paulownia.
✅ Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Fibreglass – Balanced strength, response, and smooth ride feel.
✅ Sintered Knife-Cut Base – Fast, durable sintered base with reduced manufacturing waste.
✅ Eco-Focused Construction – Ocean-bound plastics, sustainable woods, and low-impact materials throughout.

LIB TECH ORCA II & GOLDEN ORCA

Lib Tech 2027 Snowboard Collection

Lib Tech snowboards are built by Mervin Manufacturing in Sequim, Washington — the only major snowboard company still handmaking boards in the United States. While every other major brand shifted production to Asia, Lib Tech stayed. The result is tighter quality control, faster innovation, and boards built by the same riders who test them in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. The 2027 Lib Tech range at Twelve Board Store includes the T-Rice Orca II, T.Rice Apex Orca II, T.Rice Golden Orca, Lib Rig, and DPR — covering everything from progressive all-mountain freeride to freestyle performance. Every board carries Lib Tech's patented Magne-Traction® edge technology, eco-responsible construction, and the handmade quality that only comes from the last snowboard factory still operating on American soil.
At Twelve Board Store we've been selling Lib Tech for over 20 years. Our team has ridden these boards in Australia and overseas — if you need help choosing the right board for your riding style, call us on 03 9421 2293 or visit us at 435A Bridge Road, Richmond.
