The Jones Flagship 2027 is the benchmark for high-performance freeride snowboards — built for riders who want power, precision, and total confidence in any terrain. One of the most confidence-inspiring freeride boards on the planet, the Flagship floats, carves, stomps, and straight-lines with unbelievable precision thanks to its proven tapered directional shape and advanced construction.
The camber-dominant Directional Rocker profile delivers more nose rocker than tail, with camber running from the front binding through the tail. The nose rises freely in powder while the tail stays planted and precise — powerful edge hold exactly where it counts on steep descents and firm traverses. The 3D Contour Base 3.0 features 7mm of spoon bevel in both nose and tail — Jones' most aggressive base contour — for fast glide and fluid turn initiation. Traction Tech 3.0 locks in three contact points per edge for maximum grip when conditions firm up. The 12.5mm tapered shape sinks the tail naturally in powder for effortless float without having to fight for it.
The Power Core is triple-density Bamboo, Paulownia, and Poplar — bamboo stringers enhance torsional stiffness and edge response while Paulownia keeps the weight down. BComp Carbon/Flax Stringers deliver explosive pop with the flax component absorbing chatter — the same Swiss-engineered system used across the top tier of the Jones men's range. The Ash Wood Veneer Topsheet is lightweight and super damp, absorbing edge chatter and delivering even flex with added torsional stiffness at a fraction of the weight of traditional topsheets. Float Pack Inserts give you the option of a maximum setback stance on the deepest powder days.

What size Jones board do I need?
Start with your weight and boot size, then think about where you ride. Our Jones size charts cover the range, and we're happy to size you up in store or over the phone.
What is 3D Contour Base?
It's the spoon shaped bevel Jones builds into the nose and tail. The edges lift away from the snow there, so the board glides, turns and floats more easily.
Do Jones FASE bindings need special boots?
No. Jones says FASE works with any snowboard boot. If you're not sure about your board, ask us and we'll check before you buy.
Can I drop off my old board for Re-Up?
Yes. We're a Jones Re-Up drop-off point. Any brand is fine, as long as the board is in one piece with a wood core. Splitboards aren't accepted yet.
Can I pick up in store or return it?
Yes, you can pick up from our Richmond showroom. For returns and exchanges, everything you need is in our returns policy.

It's the board that made the Jones freeride reputation and is the most versatile of the two for riders who charge hard but still want a board that responds across a range of conditions. The Flagship Pro is the next level — it adds Koroyd® nose dampening, Carbon/Innegra Reinforcement for added torsional rigidity, Power Plates under the binding area, and a stiffer flex (5/5). The Pro is aimed at expert riders doing the most demanding high-speed, high-commitment descents. For most advanced riders, the standard Flagship is the right call; the Pro is for the handful of riders who consistently ride at the absolute edge of what the standard model can do.
The Stratos is the all-conditions hybrid — directional rocker (camber-dominant with nose rocker), 7/10 flex, Sintered 9900 base, and a character tuned for versatile all-mountain freeriding. The Flagship steps up with an 8/10 flex, BComp Carbon/Flax Stringers, Ash Wood Veneer Topsheet, and a more focused freeride personality — it's stiffer, damper at speed, and rewards a more aggressive, committed riding style. If the Stratos is the all-terrain daily driver that works everywhere, the Flagship is the board you bring when you know you're going to charge. The 3D Contour Base 3.0 spec is the same on both (7mm/7mm), but the Flagship's stiffer construction means it translates that speed into more locked-in, precise performance.
For an aggressive, experienced rider — absolutely. Australian resort conditions favour the Flagship well: firm groomed runs at Buller, Falls Creek, Thredbo, and Perisher demand the Traction Tech 3.0 edge grip and camber-dominant profile that the Flagship delivers. The Ash Wood Veneer Topsheet keeps chatter damped on rough afternoon snow, and the BComp Carbon/Flax Stringers give it explosive pop off any feature or roll you hit. The 154cm and 158cm sizes are particularly well suited to Australian resort riding where tight terrain is more common than wide-open big mountain lines. The Float Pack inserts are there for Australian powder days, which do happen — and when they do, the 12.5mm taper earns its keep.
