The Birdhouse Level 1 Opacity Complete Skateboard in Red at 8.0" features the Birdhouse Opacity logo in red and blue. Level 1 is Birdhouse's entry range: completes built for skaters starting out, from the brand Tony Hawk founded.
At 8.0" wide and 31.5" long, it's the most popular all-round size: stable enough for landings and park sessions, quick enough for street and flip tricks. Birdhouse trucks, 52mm 95A Birdhouse wheels, ABEC 5 bearings and black die-cut grip come pre-assembled.

About Birdhouse
Birdhouse was founded in 1992 by Tony Hawk and Per Welinder, both former Powell Peralta Bone Brigade pros. The name comes from Hawk's "Birdman" nickname, and the brand grew into one of the most recognised names in skateboarding on the back of Hawk's career and a deep team of street and vert skaters.
Hawk still owns Birdhouse today. Its Level 1 completes are the brand's entry range: proper decks and components built for skaters starting out, from a company that has been part of skateboarding for more than 30 years.

Who is an 8.0" skateboard best for?
An 8.0" deck is a full-size board that sits right in the sweet spot for most teens and adults. It's wide enough for stable landings and park skating, but still nimble enough for street and flip tricks. Go 8.25" or wider for more stability on transition. For younger kids, a mid or mini size (7.0"–7.5") is usually easier to control.
Is this a good skateboard for beginners?
Yes. Level 1 is Birdhouse's beginner range: a proper complete, fully assembled with quality trucks, wheels and bearings. It's a big step up from cheap department-store boards, which use lower-quality parts that make learning harder.
What is Birdhouse Level 1?
Level 1 is Birdhouse's entry-level complete range, previously called Stage 1. The boards use 7-ply maple decks with Birdhouse trucks, 52mm 95A wheels and ABEC 5 bearings, set up and ready for new skaters.
