I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

Ride Lasso Men's Snowboard Boot | 2026

All Mountain. All Day. All In.

The Ride Lasso is one of the best-selling men's snowboard boots in the country for a reason — it hits the sweet spot between performance and versatility that most riders actually need. Built for intermediate to advanced riders who want a boot that charges groomers, handles powder days, sessions the park, and feels dialled after eight hours without destroying your feet, the Lasso delivers a medium-stiff ride that punches above its price point at every turn. If you're serious about progressing and want one boot that does everything well, this is it.

The dual BOA setup is the centrepiece of the Lasso's fit system: the H4 BOA Coiler delivers uniform shell closure across the whole boot, while BOA Tongue Tied locks down the ankle zone through tongue-integrated guides — eliminating the need for a traditional internal harness and removing the pressure points that come with one. The Closer Lace Guide drives tension down through the forefoot alongside the BOA for even closure across the entire boot. C.A.T. Calf Adjustment Technology adds a Velcro cuff adjustment for a custom fit in the calf zone. Internal and External J Bars work at two independent points to eliminate heel lift. Lock Down Turbo keeps the liner lace at zero slack. The result is a boot that feels genuinely locked in — not just closed.

Inside, the Intuition Support Foam liner runs enhanced high-density foam for supportive performance that holds its shape across the season. Black Gold liner mesh wicks moisture and controls odour naturally with bamboo charcoal — a detail you'll appreciate on day four of a trip when everything else is damp. The Impacto Ultra insole is 3D formed dual-density with a high-density EVA support shank and +Slime high-rebound foam for all-day underfoot comfort. The shell is built with HDR Premium Synthetics for wear resistance in binding hardware and edge zones. Underfoot, the Impact Rubber Cup Sole with Fusion Rubber and Eco +Slime Midsole delivers board feel, traction, and cushioning well above what a basic rubber sole provides.

Why Ride the Ride Lasso?
✅ H4 BOA Coiler + BOA Tongue Tied – Dual closure system: H4 BOA for uniform shell fit, Tongue Tied for tongue-integrated ankle lockdown without a traditional harness or its pressure points
✅ The Closer Lace Guide – Centres over the forefoot to drive tension evenly down low, working alongside the BOA for a precision fit across the entire boot
✅ Medium-Stiff Flex (7/10) – Responsive enough to charge hard across all terrain, flexible enough to stay playful in the park and forgiving on powder days
✅ Intuition Support Foam Liner – Enhanced high-density heat-mouldable foam that offers supportive performance with maintained comfort across a full season of riding
✅ Black Gold Liner Mesh – Bamboo charcoal-infused liner material that regulates temperature, wicks moisture, and kills odour naturally
✅ Internal + External J Bars – Dual-point ankle and heel hold at two independent locations; more coverage, zero heel lift, sharper response
✅ C.A.T. Calf Adjustment Technology – Velcro cuff adjustment for a one-of-a-kind custom fit in the calf zone regardless of calf shape or size
✅ Lock Down Turbo – No-slack liner lace lock that keeps liner and shell working as a single unit with zero movement between them
✅ Impacto Ultra Insole – 3D formed dual-density insole with high-density EVA support shank and +Slime high-rebound foam for all-day cushioning and response
✅ Impact Rubber Cup Sole with Eco +Slime Midsole – Full-length dual-density midsole with recessed geometry for improved board feel; Fusion Rubber with up to 30% reground rubber for durable traction
✅ HDR Premium Synthetics Shell – Ride's premium PU with proprietary resin for superior wear resistance in the high-abrasion zones where binding hardware and edges do the most damage
✅ Heat Reflective Foil – Redirects warmth back into the toe and underfoot to keep feet warm on cold lift rides and early morning runs
✅ Removable Liner – Pull the liner after wet days, dry them overnight, ride fresh boots in the morning

Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I order?
The Lasso fits true to your US men's sneaker size. Snowboard boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes lightly grazing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel locked down with minimal lift. That's not too small, that's correct. When you bend your knees into a riding stance your heel drops, toes pull back slightly, and the boot wraps your foot properly. If you're between sizes, use the half sizes. Not sure? Our full boot fit guide at twelveboardstore.com.au/pages/snowboard-boots-how-to-choose-and-fit-guide walks you through exactly how to measure your foot and check fit at home. Or reach us on 03 9421 2293, via the contact page, or in store — we'll sort it in minutes.

Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. If you're in Melbourne, come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: measuring your foot, checking shell fit, and heat moulding your Intuition Support liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. A moulded liner eliminates pressure points, sharpens heel hold, and means the Lasso performs from run one rather than after days of break-in. Not in Melbourne? We'll walk you through the at-home heat moulding process over the phone or by message — it's straightforward and makes a genuine difference on a medium-stiff boot like this.

What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?
We've got you covered no matter how you bought. If something feels off when your boots arrive, reach out before you do anything else — call us on 03 9421 2293, send a message through the contact page, or email info@twelveboardstore.com.au. Nine times out of ten a fit issue can be diagnosed and solved without a return, whether that's a BOA adjustment, lacing technique, or heat mould question. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots need to be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and in original condition.

How does the Lasso compare to the Lasso Pro — and which one should I buy?
The Lasso (7/10 medium-stiff) is the all-mountain all-rounder — it handles everything well and suits riders who split their time across groomers, park, powder, and general all-mountain riding. The Lasso Pro steps up to 8/10 aggressive flex with the Tongue Tied Hybrid Harness (which adds an upper ankle harness on top of the standard Tongue Tied), the Intuition Dream Liner with its roomy toe box and skeletal structure, the Michelin Fiberlite sole, and the HI Rebound TPU heel counter. The Pro is built for advanced riders who primarily charge big terrain at speed and want maximum response and durability. If you're progressing confidently across all terrain and want one versatile boot, go Lasso. If you're consistently riding at the edge of what a medium boot can deliver and want more power and precision, step up to the Pro.

About Ride Snowboards
Ride Snowboards has been building boots, boards, and bindings in the Pacific Northwest since 1992 — over 30 years of obsessing over fit, flex, and performance without the corporate fluff. The Lasso has been the best-selling men's snowboard boot in the US for multiple seasons running. That's not marketing — that's riders buying the same boot again because it works. Ride builds with sustainability front of mind, using recycled packaging, Fusion Rubber compounds with up to 30% reground rubber, and Eco +Slime Midsole in every Lasso outsole.

About Snowboard Boots — Buying Guide

Snowboard boots are the most important part of your setup. They connect you to your board, affect your control, comfort, warmth and how much energy you burn across a full day on the hill. Getting the fit right is everything — a boot that fits correctly makes riding easier from your first run. A boot that doesn't will ruin your day regardless of how good the board underneath it is. At Twelve Board Store we fit hundreds of riders every season across brands including Vans, Burton, K2, Ride, ThirtyTwo and DC. Every boot in our range has been ridden and assessed by our team. We only stock boots we'd recommend to our own crew.

Getting your size right online: Measure your foot in centimetres while standing with full weight — this is your Mondo size, the most accurate way to find your boot size. Snowboard boots use US sizing. 25cm = US7, 26cm = US8, 27cm = US9, 28cm = US10, 29cm = US11, 30cm = US12. Boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes grazing the end when standing, lifting slightly when knees bend forward. A boot that feels comfortable in your lounge room is too big for the mountain.

Volume matters as much as length: Low volume boots suit narrow, low-arch feet. High volume suits wide feet or high arches. Getting volume wrong causes pressure and pain regardless of length. If you're between sizes or have a wide foot, contact us before you buy — we'll point you to the right boot.

Flex rating: Soft (1–4) for beginners, park riders and those who want a surfy, forgiving feel. Medium (5–7) for all-mountain versatility. Stiff (8–10) for aggressive freeride, carving and riders who want direct response and maximum support.

Closure systems: Traditional lace is still the most popular — micro-adjustable, direct feel, lower price point. BOA® dial gives you one-hand precision tightening with gloves on, fast on/off between runs. Hybrid BOA combines lace at the foot with a dial at the instep for zone-by-zone control. Speed lace is faster than traditional lace and lighter than BOA.

Wrong size? We'll swap it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or chat online — our team will give you a straight answer based on your foot shape, riding style and where you're planning to ride. If you're in Melbourne, come in and try them on at 435A Bridge Road Richmond. We heat mould liners in-store — no appointment needed.
