Hired Hands are Triple Eight's burliest glove. They combine full wrist guard protection with the secure fit and coverage of a glove, so your palm and fingers are covered as well as your wrist. They suit skateboarders, inline skaters and roller skaters who want more hand coverage than a standard guard.

The gloves are built from top grain leather with removable and replaceable impact-resistant ABS splints on the top and bottom. Layers of shock-absorbing EVA foam are double stitched for durability. A thick neoprene support strap holds everything secure, and an EZ pull-on loop makes them easy to get on.

Size Guide

Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, keeping the hand flat. If you are between sizes or unsure, Triple 8 strongly recommends sizing up to the larger size. The cm figures are converted from Triple 8's inch chart.

Leather softens and moulds to your hand with wear, so a firm first fit is normal.

What size Hired Hands should I get?
Measure around your knuckles: S is 7–8in, M 8–9in, L 9–10in and XL 10–11in. Triple 8 recommends sizing up if you are between sizes or unsure.

Hired Hands or Wristsavers?
Wristsavers are a lighter mesh guard that leaves your fingers free. Hired Hands are a full leather glove with removable splints, so they cover more of your hand and take more abuse. Pick Hired Hands if you want maximum coverage.

Can I replace the splints?
Yes. The ABS splints on the top and bottom are removable and replaceable. If one cracks after a big slam, swap it out rather than skating on a damaged splint.

How do I care for leather wrist guards?
Air dry them after each session and keep them away from direct heat, which can stiffen leather. Triple 8 does not publish washing instructions, so wipe them clean rather than soaking them.
