Ride Hera Women's Snowboard Boot 2027 | Black
Ride Hera 2027: A Medium Flex Women's BOA Boot That's Comfy From Day One.
The Ride Hera is the women's snowboard boot we recommend when comfort and a solid all-mountain fit come first. It's Ride's Medium response women's boot for 2027, rated for all mountain, powder and park, and built on the women's specific Jade Last with a BOA Fit System powered by H5 and Ride's patented BOA Tongue Tied ankle lock.
Put it on and the Intuition Support Foam Liner feels comfortable straight away, so there's no painful break-in. The BOA dial tightens the shell evenly in small steps, and Tongue Tied draws your heel back into the pocket without a bulky harness. Ride calls it a medium flexing boot designed for all-mountain performance, so it's supportive on firm groomers but still forgiving in the park. C.A.T. lets you adjust the calf for long days. The Black colourway is timeless and goes with any outerwear.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ BOA Fit System powered by H5: precise, micro-adjustable fit through the shell, easy to tweak with gloves on
✅ BOA Tongue Tied: Ride's patented system that locks your heel in place without a traditional harness
✅ The Closer lace guide: carries the lace pull down over the forefoot so the front of the foot is held as well as the ankle
✅ Intuition Support Foam Liner: comfortable from your first run, with less break-in time
✅ Jade Last: Ride's performance designed, women's specific fit
✅ C.A.T. (Calf Adjustment Technology): a Velcro adjustment on the cuff so you can loosen or tighten the calf zone
✅ Internal and External J Bars: added hold around the ankle and heel
✅ Black Gold Liner Mesh and Heat Reflective Foil: odour and moisture control, and warmth bounced back to your toes
✅ Impact Rubber Cup Sole with Fusion Rubber and ECO +SLIME midsole: cushioning and traction in all terrain, with up to 30% reground rubber
✅ Removable liner: dry it out properly between days
Best for: progressing to advanced women riders who want a comfortable, medium flex BOA snowboard boot that handles groomers, powder and park laps.
Built for Australian Conditions
A medium flex boot is a great match for Australian conditions. Early runs at Thredbo or Perisher can be hard and fast, and you need enough support to hold an edge. By lunch it's slush at Buller and you want a boot that lets you relax and play. The Hera does both, and the Heat Reflective Foil keeps toes warmer on those bitter days at Hotham. Off to Japan or Canada? The removable liner dries out overnight between big powder days.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Fit the boot with one thin pair of riding socks. Your toes should lightly touch the end when standing upright and come back off it when you bend your knees into a riding stance. Dial the BOA to snug, not tight, and loosen it a few clicks on the chairlift. Set the C.A.T. so the cuff wraps your calf evenly; if you have a fuller calf, open it up for comfort. Book a free boot fitting in store and we'll get the size right before you hit the snow.
Not for you if: you want a stiff, aggressive boot for high-speed freeriding. Browse our women's snowboard boots and use the filters to find a stiffer flex in your size.

About Ride
Ride started out of the Seattle area in 1992 with freestyle running through everything it made, and more than three decades on it still builds snowboards, boots and bindings with the same attitude: put the effort into how the gear rides, not into marketing gimmicks. You can see it in the details we care about at the shop, like aluminium binding chassis covered by a lifetime warranty, boot outsoles made with up to 30% reground rubber, and FSC certified packaging.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
