Fat boy from 12 Boards

I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

Bent Metal Transfer Men's Snowboard Binding 2026 | Red

Seriously Underrated

These bindings are seriously Underrated, and Bent Metal are now gonna be my go-to bindings for the next few seasons.

I've been riding for 3 decades, and most recently have had Burton Vita's and Cartels, Now's, Joneses, Union Ultras, Nitro Phantoms and Team Pros, Rome Katanas and other stuff I have lost track of.

These Bent Metals have the response and support of a stiffer binding, the dampening to rival my Nitro Phantoms (with that fancy air injected foam and airbag in the heel) and yet are better straps and dampening WITH control, than my Union Ultras - which now, I will be selling.

And they also allow me to move around on board, for when I want to get surfy carvy.

They were not wrong when they said you get dampening AND underfoot feel - with most bindings, you lose one as you gain the other.

You also get the mini disc for microscopic, millimetre perfect stance adjustment.

The straps are super comfy and conform nicely around my boot, crating no pressure points, and the dampening allows my clapped out feet to ride for just that little bit longer, compared to the rest of my binding quiver.

For anyone thinking of these as an outlier potential options to your standard Union Forces or Rome Katanas or Burton Cartels - these are better in many, many ways.

Take the risk, and get yourself a pair!

Great service from twelve board store, lots of communication and superfast delivery, first bracket board Iv had and i love it, nice and stable but with good turning, dad bod wheels are smooth and roll over anything and the blue wheels match nicely to the board for a neat looking outfit, very happy with the loaded board!

Exactly what i orderes

Awesome fit!

This helmet is AWESOME! The perfect fit, easy clasp, and fab colour have made my daily bike commute safe and more fun! There’s a risk buying equipment online however this has exceeded my hopes, PLUS the handy hole for sliding it onto the lock is a great design feature I didn’t;t know I needed. Wishing I had brought the magnetic light to go with it. Would def buy again.

Ride Lasso BOA Men's Snowboard Boot 2026 | Black

Dialled Fit. All-Mountain Control.

The Lasso is Ride's all-mountain workhorse for riders who want a locked-in, precise fit and the versatility to handle whatever the mountain throws at them. It sits just below the Lasso Pro in Ride's lineup — sharing the same pedigree but with a slightly more forgiving flex that makes it as capable in the park as it is on groomers, powder, and everything in between. The H4 BOA® Coiler Fit System delivers fast, even tightening across the entire boot, while BOA® Tongue Tied™ adds a dedicated second dial for the ankle zone, eliminating heel lift without the bulk of a traditional harness. Inside, an Intuition™ Support Foam liner with heat-reflective foil and Black Gold™ bamboo charcoal mesh keeps your feet warm, dry, and fresh through long days on the hill. The Impact Rubber Cup Sole uses Ride's Fusion Rubber — up to 30% reground rubber — combined with the Eco +Slime midsole for cushioning, rebound, and board feel that doesn't sacrifice the environment to deliver it. At a 7/10 medium-stiff flex, the Lasso rewards progressive riding while staying comfortable enough to rip from first lift to last chair. A no-compromise all-mountain boot engineered for the rider who wants precision, performance, and versatility in a single package.

H4 BOA® Coiler Fit System + Tongue Tied™

The Lasso's dual-dial fit system does more than standard single-zone BOA®. The H4 BOA® Coiler dial retracts cable slack instantly for fast, even tightening across the full boot — durable, precise, and glove-friendly. The second dial activates the Tongue Tied™ system, a unique two-zone setup with an integrated tongue that delivers ultimate heel hold and a micro-adjustable ankle fit without the need for a traditional harness. The Closer™ lace guide centres over the forefoot to drive lace tension evenly from top to bottom, delivering twice the closing power and an exceptionally uniform fit across the entire boot. TX3 non-stretch textile soft lace runs both systems — engineered to perform as strong as cable with a more comfortable feel against the boot.

IN2GRATED™ Construction

Ride's most efficient construction approach. The liner is factory-moulded inside the shell to create the tightest possible net fit between the two — less pack-out over time, better overall comfort from day one, and a lighter, shorter boot profile than conventional construction methods. The result is a boot that feels more connected and responsive underfoot, and one that holds its fit longer through a full season of hard riding.

Intuition™ Support Foam Liner

Ride's premium liner option. The Intuition™ Support Foam uses high-density foam for a supportive, performance-focused feel that holds its shape and delivers consistent response throughout the day. Internal and external J-bars grip at the heel for superior ankle hold and stability. Lock Down™ Turbo liner lacing keeps the liner laces tight with no slack migration. Heat-reflective foil redirects warmth underneath the foot and into the toe box for all-day warmth, and Black Gold™ bamboo charcoal liner mesh naturally manages odour and moisture while improving temperature regulation. The liner is fully removable — pull it out after a wet or hard day to dry overnight and start fresh the next morning.

Impacto Ultra Insole

A 3D-formed dual-density insole combining a high-density EVA support shank with +Slime high-rebound foam. The support shank provides stability and structure underfoot in demanding conditions, while the +Slime foam delivers cushioning and energy return to keep your legs fresher through long days and hard landings.

Impact Rubber Cup Sole with Fusion Rubber + Eco +Slime Midsole

Not a basic cup sole. The Impact Rubber Cup Sole combines durability, protection, and grip with an internal full-length dual-density +Slime EVA midsole — the underfoot recessed geometry and +Slime EVA blend improve board feel without sacrificing cushioning. Fusion Rubber uses up to 30% reground rubber to reduce virgin rubber consumption and lower environmental impact. The Eco +Slime midsole blends PU with sugarcane-derived EVA — a petroleum-free alternative available in 50%, 70%, and 100% blends that delivers comfort, rebound, and a cleaner environmental footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I order?

The Ride Lasso fits true to size with a performance-focused feel — order your standard men's US shoe size for a snug, responsive fit. If you're between sizes or prefer a slightly more relaxed feel, sizing up half a size is a reasonable option. Like all snowboard boots, the Lasso should feel noticeably snug out of the box: toes lightly brushing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel sitting down with minimal lift. Once you flex into a riding stance your toes ease back and the boot wraps your foot properly. Our full boot fit guide is at twelveboardstore.com.au/pages/snowboard-boots-how-to-choose-and-fit-guide, or call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll help.

Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?

Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. Come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: checking shell fit, measuring your foot, and heat moulding the Intuition™ Support Foam Liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. The Intuition™ foam responds thoroughly to heat moulding and delivers a noticeably more custom fit — better heel hold, eliminated pressure points, and a boot that feels dialled from run one. If you're not in Melbourne, we can walk you through the at-home process by phone or message.

What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?

Reach out before you do anything else — call us on 03 9421 2293, message through the contact page, or email info@twelveboardstore.com.au. The Lasso's dual BOA® dials and Tongue Tied™ system give a lot of room to resolve fit issues before swapping sizes — many apparent problems can be dialled out through zone-specific adjustments or a heat mould. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots must be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and returned in original condition.

Is the Lasso right for my level and riding style?

The Lasso at 7/10 flex is built for intermediate to advanced riders who want a responsive, all-mountain boot with genuine versatility. It's stiffer than a beginner boot but carries enough forgiveness to stay comfortable across a full day of varied riding — groomers, side hits, powder, and park all fall within its wheelhouse. If you're an advanced rider who exclusively charges hard and fast on steep terrain and wants maximum stiffness and power transfer, the Lasso Pro or a dedicated freeride boot may serve you better. If you're still building confidence and want something more forgiving, a 4/10 to 5/10 flex will be a more comfortable starting point. Call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll give you an honest steer.

About Snowboard Boots — Buying Guide

Snowboard boots are the most important part of your setup. They connect you to your board, affect your control, comfort, warmth and how much energy you burn across a full day on the hill. Getting the fit right is everything — a boot that fits correctly makes riding easier from your first run. A boot that doesn't will ruin your day regardless of how good the board underneath it is. At Twelve Board Store we fit hundreds of riders every season across brands including Vans, Burton, K2, Ride, ThirtyTwo and DC. Every boot in our range has been ridden and assessed by our team. We only stock boots we'd recommend to our own crew.

Getting your size right online: Measure your foot in centimetres while standing with full weight — this is your Mondo size, the most accurate way to find your boot size. Snowboard boots use US sizing. 25cm = US7, 26cm = US8, 27cm = US9, 28cm = US10, 29cm = US11, 30cm = US12. Boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes grazing the end when standing, lifting slightly when knees bend forward. A boot that feels comfortable in your lounge room is too big for the mountain.

Volume matters as much as length: Low volume boots suit narrow, low-arch feet. High volume suits wide feet or high arches. Getting volume wrong causes pressure and pain regardless of length. If you're between sizes or have a wide foot, contact us before you buy — we'll point you to the right boot.

Flex rating: Soft (1–4) for beginners, park riders and those who want a surfy, forgiving feel. Medium (5–7) for all-mountain versatility. Stiff (8–10) for aggressive freeride, carving and riders who want direct response and maximum support.

Closure systems: Traditional lace is still the most popular — micro-adjustable, direct feel, lower price point. BOA® dial gives you one-hand precision tightening with gloves on, fast on/off between runs. Hybrid BOA combines lace at the foot with a dial at the instep for zone-by-zone control. Speed lace is faster than traditional lace and lighter than BOA.

Wrong size? We'll swap it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or chat online — our team will give you a straight answer based on your foot shape, riding style and where you're planning to ride. If you're in Melbourne, come in and try them on at 435A Bridge Road Richmond. We heat mould liners in-store — no appointment needed.
