Landyachtz was started in the basement of the Blackcomb Ski Club cabin by two friends, Michael Perreten and Thomas Edstrand, who believe skateboarding makes life better — it's something to do with your friends, a way of expressing yourself, a way to get outside; it's fun, challenging and exciting. You don't need a membership, season's pass or a vehicle to be a skateboarder, all you need is a board and your imagination.
