The FR777 is the top of the Flightrisk range — and it earns that position with specs the rest of the lineup can't match. Where the FR333 and FR555 run a single rear motor, the FR777 adds a second 1000W Bafang motor to the front wheel, giving you true all-wheel drive. That's 2000W total across both axles — full traction on loose ground, split torque for climbing, and AWD grip in wet conditions where a single-motor bike would spin out.
The dual-battery setup compounds the advantage. A primary 52V 25Ah Samsung battery is paired with a secondary 52V 15Ah Samsung pack — combined capacity that pushes range to up to 100km even with the extra motor drawing from the system. TEKTRO four-piston hydraulic brakes, Shimano 7-speed gearing, Vee Rubber Huntsman 20×4" fat tyres, and EXSHO front suspension round out a bike built for riders who genuinely need more capability, not just more badge.
Like all Series II Flightrisk bikes it ships with built-in GPS tracking, geofencing, integrated front and rear LED indicators, app-controlled power modes (250W / 500W / Off-Road), and full ride data via the FR Escape App. Max load is 180kg. FR777 vs FR555 — Why Go Dual Motor?
The FR555 is an excellent full-frame fat-tyre bike for urban and mixed-terrain riding. The FR777 goes further in two specific situations: terrain that demands rear-wheel traction backup (steep climbs, wet roads, loose gravel, trails), and riding where you want the security of a second battery. If your riding is mostly city commuting on sealed roads, the FR555 does everything you need at significantly less weight (47kg vs 53kg). If you ride in genuinely challenging conditions, regularly tackle steep hills, or want the extra range insurance of two batteries — the FR777 is the right call. Real-World Range
Up to 100km in PAS 1–2 on flat ground with both batteries. In mixed Melbourne riding, expect 60–80km. Under heavy throttle, hills, or with a passenger, plan for 30–50km. The dual battery extends your safety margin significantly on longer rides. Range varies with rider weight, terrain, wind, tyre pressure, and temperature.
EPAC Compliance (Australia)
In 250W pedal-assist mode up to 25km/h, the FR777 meets Australian EPAC standards for on-road use. The 500W and off-road modes via the FR Escape App are for private property and off-road use only — check your state regulations before riding in unlocked modes on public roads.
