The Arc ST is Spark R&D's lightweight, surfy splitboard binding. It's built for trees and powder, and tough enough for more complex all-mountain days, with a medium flex that puts board feel and touring efficiency first.

It runs on Spark's Tesla T1 system with ST Tech: the ST Brackets and ST Whammy Bars have a thermoplastic overmoulded onto the metal parts to cut friction, last longer and make the skin track smoother.

Best for: splitboarders who chase powder, tree lines and long tours, and want a light, playful binding that rides with a surfy feel.

The Tech and What It Does for Your Day

✅ Tesla T1 system: slide into the offset touring bracket and lock with the snap ramp, with no pins, cables or tools

✅ Arc ST Asym Rip 'N' Flip highbacks: moderate glass fibre fill for a medium flex and surfy feel, individual left and right highbacks, a flatter upper for lateral movement and a tool-free forward lean adjuster for tour and ride modes
✅ Pillow Line straps: one-piece moulded, waterproof and made in-house; the Arc ST ankle strap is smaller around the boot with a flex window, and the toe strap works as a toe cap or traditional strap
✅ Cold-ready ladders: in-house thermoplastic ladders and adjusters that stay flexible in cold and warm temps, with Burton buckles

FAQs

What size Spark binding do I need?
Spark uses unisex sizing: XS fits under US men's 7 (women's 8), S fits US men's 7 to 8.5 (women's 8 to 9.5), M fits US men's 8.5 to 10.5 (women's 9.5 to 11.5) and L fits US men's 10.5 and up (women's 11.5 and up). Boot bulk matters as much as length, so if you're between sizes bring your boots into 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293.

Are pucks included?
No. Like every Spark binding, it needs Spark Flat Pucks or Spark Canted Pucks to mount to your splitboard in ride mode. They're sold separately.

How does the Tesla T1 system work?
In tour mode the binding slides sideways into the offset ST touring bracket and locks with the snap ramp. No pins, no cables, no tools. To ride, unlock the ramp, slide the binding out, turn it and slide it onto your pucks.

Is the Arc ST stiff?
No. It's Spark's medium-flex binding, with a moderate glass fibre highback and a smaller ankle strap with a flex window for a surfy, playful ride.
