Nitro Slash Snowboard | 2027
3D Surf Tech for Pow, Slush and Everything In Between.
The Slash is the surf-shaped all-mountain freerider in Nitro's Quiver Series, built to feel loose and surfy in powder and slush without giving up its carve on the groomers. A wider nose and narrower tail, plus a big 25mm setback, keep the nose up when it's deep and let the tail sink and pivot.
Underneath sits Nitro's 3D Surf Tech base, convex in the nose and concave in the tail, for smooth float and drive out of the turn. Trüe Camber, a 7/10 flex and a Powercore II core with beech stringers give it backbone and pop, the Reflex Core Profile makes it easy to swing around, and the wide waist and Sintered EcoSpeed HD base handle big boots and fast snow.
Best for: all-mountain riders who live for powder and soft snow but want a board that still carves hard when the resort's tracked out.

FAQs
What size Slash should I ride?
Nitro rates the 144 for riders from 40kg and the 156 from 60kg. The Slash is wide with a tapered outline, so most riders can ride it a little shorter than their usual all-mountain board.
What is 3D Surf Tech?
It's Nitro's shaped base: convex in the nose to ride up and over soft snow, concave in the tail to grip and drive out of the turn. The result is a surfy feel in powder and slush.
Slash or Dinghy?
Both run Trüe Camber, Powercore II and a sintered base. The Slash adds 3D Surf Tech and a bigger setback for a more surf-driven pow feel. The Dinghy is a shorter, wide-only board for big boots and tight trees.
What bindings fit the Slash?
Any standard 4-hole binding (2x4 or 4x4 disc) fits, plus Burton Re:Flex discs. Burton EST bindings won't mount, as they need Burton's Channel. Set your stance width inside the range Nitro lists for your size in the chart above.
About Nitro
Nitro was founded in Seattle in 1990 by Tommy Delago and Sepp Ardelt, and it's still one of the original snowboarder-owned brands, privately held and answering to riders rather than investors. Freestyle has been in its blood from day one, and its team has stacked Olympic and X Games gold, with riders like Marcus Kleveland and Hailey Langland shaping the current range. Across the 2027 line, solar-powered production, FSC-certified wood cores, recycled raw materials and water-based inks are standard, not optional extras.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
