Ride Lasso BOA Men's Snowboard Boot 2027 | Black
Ride Lasso BOA 2027: The Medium Flex Boot for Park, Groomers and Powder.
When someone tells us they want one snowboard boot to cover park laps, groomers and the odd powder day, the Ride Lasso BOA is usually the first box we open. It's Ride's Medium response men's snowboard boot for 2027, rated by Ride for all mountain, powder and park, and it combines a BOA Fit System powered by H5 with Coiler on the shell with Ride's patented BOA Tongue Tied ankle lock.
On the hill the Lasso feels supportive without being stiff for the sake of it. You can flex into a butter or soak up a sketchy landing, then roll onto a heelside carve and the boot still holds you. The BOA lets you fine tune the squeeze a click at a time on the chairlift, and the heat mouldable Intuition Support Foam Liner settles around your foot so the boot feels like yours after a few days rather than half a season. This is the Black colourway: plain, tough looking and at home on any board.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ BOA Fit System powered by H5 with Coiler: fast, even tension across the shell, adjustable in small steps with gloves on
✅ BOA Tongue Tied: Ride's patented ankle lock that pulls your heel back into the pocket without a traditional harness inside the boot
✅ The Closer lace guide: directs lace pull down over the forefoot so the front of your foot stays secure, not just the ankle
✅ Intuition Support Foam Liner: fully heat mouldable foam that shapes to your foot for comfort and less dead space
✅ Internal and External J Bars: extra hold around the ankle bone and heel, so less lift when you load the toe edge
✅ Black Gold Liner Mesh and Heat Reflective Foil: bamboo charcoal mesh that helps manage moisture and odour, with a foil layer to keep warmth in your toes
✅ Impact Rubber Cup Sole with Fusion Rubber and ECO +SLIME midsole: grip in the car park, cushioning on landings and enough board feel to know what your edges are doing
✅ C.A.T. (Calf Adjustment Technology): tune the fit around your calf so the cuff sits right on your leg
✅ Removable liner: pull it out to dry overnight on multi-day trips
Best for: intermediate to advanced riders after an easy-wearing, medium flex BOA snowboard boot that covers park laps, all-mountain cruising and powder days without swapping gear.
Built for Australian Conditions
A medium flex boot makes a lot of sense on Aussie snow. Mornings at Thredbo, Perisher or Hotham can be hard and icy, by early afternoon you're in slush at Buller, and the last run home is often refrozen chop. The Lasso has enough support to hold an edge when it's firm and enough give to stay relaxed and playful when it softens up or you head into the park. Taking it to Japan or Canada? The warm liner and the removable inner make long, cold powder days easier to recover from.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Fit the boot with the socks you actually ride in, one thin pair only. Your toes should just brush the end when you stand tall and pull back slightly when you bend your knees. Lock the ankle first, then bring the shell BOA up to snug rather than crushing it, and back it off a few clicks on the chairlift to let your feet breathe. Set the C.A.T. so the cuff touches your calf evenly without pinching. We'll fit you for free in store and heat mould the liner on the spot.
Not for you if: you ride hard and fast most of the day and want a firmer boot to drive a stiff board. Browse our men's snowboard boots and use the filters to find a stiffer boot in your size.

FAQs
What size Ride Lasso snowboard boot should I buy?
Ride builds the Lasso on 1:1 lasting, so every whole and half size gets a liner matched to its shell. Start with your usual riding size, then try them on, because two feet with the same number can be very different shapes. Our boot fit guide walks you through it, or book a free fitting at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call us on 03 9421 2293.
Can the Ride Lasso liner be heat moulded?
Yes. The Intuition Support Foam Liner is fully heat mouldable, and we heat mould it for free when you buy the boots in store. It takes the pressure points out early and shortens the break-in.
How stiff is the Ride Lasso BOA boot?
Ride gives the Lasso a Medium response rating, the middle of its boot scale. It's firm enough to hold an edge on hardpack and soft enough to flex and press in the park.
Is the Ride Lasso good for park and powder?
Ride rates the Lasso for All Mountain, Powder and Park, and that's how we see it too: a do-everything boot that's easy to tweak and press in the park but still has the support to drive through soft snow.
Can I take the Ride Lasso liner out to dry?
Yes, the liner is removable. Pull it out at the end of the day and let it dry away from direct heat, and the boot will be warmer and fresher the next morning.
About Ride
Ride started out of the Seattle area in 1992 with freestyle running through everything it made, and more than three decades on it still builds snowboards, boots and bindings with the same attitude: put the effort into how the gear rides, not into marketing gimmicks. You can see it in the details we care about at the shop, like aluminium binding chassis covered by a lifetime warranty, boot outsoles made with up to 30% reground rubber, and FSC certified packaging.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
