K2 Maysis Wide Men's Snowboard Boot 2027 | Black
K2 Maysis Wide 2027: The Same Mid-Stiff Workhorse, 7mm Wider.
If standard boots crush your forefoot, the K2 Maysis Wide is the boot to try. K2 keeps it simple: the 2027 Maysis Wide is 7mm wider in both the liner and the shell, and everything else is the Maysis you know, a men's all-mountain snowboard boot rated 7/10 on K2's flex scale.
The extra width means you can tighten the boot properly without your toes going numb. Conda internal lacing powered by BOA pulls your heel into the pocket, the outer BOA Fit System powered by H5 snugs the shell, and the heat mouldable Intuition Control Foam 3D liner forms to your foot. Underneath, a This Grips! premium rubber cupsole with Harshmellow in the heel and forefoot adds grip and damping. This is the Black colourway, the only colour K2 makes the Maysis Wide in.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Wide fit: K2 makes the Maysis Wide 7mm wider in both the liner and the shell, so wider feet aren't squeezed
✅ Intuition Control Foam 3D liner: heat mouldable medium and high-density foam that forms to your leg, ankle and foot for a warmer, more precise fit
✅ Conda internal lacing powered by BOA: K2's liner fit system pulls your heel back into the pocket and hugs your ankle while still flexing naturally
✅ BOA Fit System powered by H5 with TX3 lace: fast, even shell tension you can fine tune in small clicks
✅ Endo 3.0 heel counter: keeps the boot's flex consistent over its life
✅ Articulating upper cuff: smooth forward flex without the shell buckling when you bend your knees
✅ Internal and external J-bars: extra structure around the ankle to cut heel lift
✅ S'Cafe coffee mesh: a liner layer that helps control odour and absorb moisture
✅ Harshmellow Plus insole: dual-density EVA with Harshmellow in the heel pocket to soften big landings
✅ HDR Premium Synthetics and reinforced rubber toe: a tough upper that K2 says is eight times more durable than standard polyurethane, plus abrasion resistance at the toe
✅ This Grips! premium rubber cupsole: a dual-density rubber cupsole with a rounded heel, wrapped arch and Harshmellow in the heel and forefoot for grip and damping
Best for: intermediate to advanced riders with wider feet who want the full mid-stiff Maysis package for all-mountain, freestyle and powder riding, without the pressure points.
Built for Australian Conditions
A cramped boot is miserable on a cold morning at Perisher or Hotham, and that's often when wide-footed riders feel it most. The Maysis Wide lets your feet sit naturally, keeping blood flowing and toes warmer, while the 7/10 flex holds an edge on icy groomers and handles slush and refrozen chop at Buller or Thredbo later in the day. If you're heading to Japan or Canada, a boot that fits your foot shape makes long, cold powder days a lot more enjoyable.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Fit the boot with one thin pair of riding socks, ideally later in the day when your feet are at their widest. Snug the Conda internal lacing first to set your heel in the pocket, then dial the outer BOA to firm but not crushing, and back it off a few clicks on the chairlift. Your toes should just brush the end when standing and pull back as you flex your knees. Heat moulding is free when you buy in store, and it makes a big difference to how quickly the Intuition liner settles to your foot. Book a free boot fitting and we'll check the size with you.
Not for you if: your feet are standard width, or you want a soft park boot or very stiff freeride boot. Browse our men's snowboard boots and use the filters to find the width and flex you need.

FAQs
How much wider is the K2 Maysis Wide?
K2 makes it 7mm wider in both the liner and the shell compared with the standard version of this boot.
How do I know if I need a wide snowboard boot?
If standard boots crush the sides of your forefoot, or your toes go numb even when the length is right, a wide boot is worth trying. Our boot fit guide has more, or book a free fitting at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293 and try both side by side.
Can I heat mould the K2 Maysis Wide?
Yes. K2 uses a heat mouldable Intuition Control Foam 3D liner, and we heat mould it for free when you buy these boots in store.
Do wide boots fit standard bindings?
Most of the time, yes. Make sure your binding size matches your boot size, and bring your bindings in so we can check the fit and overhang before you ride.
About K2
K2 started in Washington State in 1962 and calls itself the original American ski and snowboard brand. More than 60 years on, freeride is still at the core of what it builds, and its boot range is where a lot of the fit thinking shows up: Intuition foam liners, BOA Fit Systems, K2's own Endo construction and Harshmellow damping, all built around getting your foot comfortable and locked in.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
