K2 Maysis Men's Snowboard Boot 2027 | Black
K2 Maysis 2027 in Black: The Workhorse BOA Boot With a Glove-Like Fit.
The K2 Maysis is one of the most popular snowboard boots we fit, and K2 itself calls it the number one boot in snowboarding. The 2027 Maysis is a mid-stiff men's boot, rated 7/10 on K2's flex scale, with a heat mouldable Intuition liner, Conda internal lacing powered by BOA and an outer BOA Fit System powered by H5.
On the hill you feel the fit first. Conda pulls your heel back into the pocket and wraps the ankle, so the boot stays responsive without feeling like a cast. The articulating cuff lets you bend your knees without the shell distorting, and Endo 3.0 construction is there to keep that flex feeling the same for seasons. Underfoot, the This Grips! outsole and Harshmellow damping take the edge off flat landings. This is the Black colourway: the classic all-black Maysis that goes with everything.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Intuition Control Foam 3D liner: heat mouldable medium and high-density foam that forms to your leg, ankle and foot for a warmer, more precise fit
✅ Conda internal lacing powered by BOA: K2's liner fit system pulls your heel back into the pocket and hugs your ankle while still flexing naturally
✅ BOA Fit System powered by H5 with TX3 lace: fast, even shell tension you can fine tune in small clicks
✅ Endo 3.0 heel counter: keeps the boot's flex consistent over its life
✅ Articulating upper cuff: smooth forward flex without the shell buckling when you bend your knees
✅ Internal and external J-bars: extra structure around the ankle to cut heel lift
✅ S'Cafe coffee mesh: a liner layer that helps control odour and absorb moisture
✅ Harshmellow Plus insole: dual-density EVA with Harshmellow in the heel pocket to soften big landings
✅ HDR Premium Synthetics and reinforced rubber toe: a tough upper that K2 says is eight times more durable than standard polyurethane, plus abrasion resistance at the toe
✅ This Grips! rubber outsole with Harshmellow damping: a dual-density EVA and Harshmellow midsole to soak up landings and grip on icy car parks
Best for: intermediate to advanced riders who want one dialled, mid-stiff snowboard boot for all-mountain laps, freeride, freestyle and powder days.
Built for Australian Conditions
The Maysis suits Australian resorts down to the ground. You'll ride hard, icy groomers at Thredbo and Perisher in the morning, where the 7/10 flex gives you leverage to hold an edge, then softer park laps or slushy runs at Buller or Hotham in the afternoon, where it still lets you move. Refrozen chop on the last run? The Harshmellow damping helps. For trips to Japan or Canada, the warm, heat mouldable Intuition liner keeps your feet comfortable through long, cold powder days.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Fit the boot with one thin pair of riding socks. Snug the Conda internal lacing first to set your heel in the pocket, then dial the outer BOA to firm but not crushing, and back it off a few clicks on the chairlift. Your toes should just brush the end when standing and pull back as you flex your knees. Heat moulding is free when you buy in store, and it makes a big difference to how quickly the Intuition liner settles to your foot. Book a free boot fitting and we'll check the size with you.
Not for you if: you want a very soft park boot or an ultra-stiff freeride boot. Browse our men's snowboard boots and use the filters to find a softer or stiffer flex in your size.

FAQs
What size K2 Maysis boot should I buy?
Start with the boot size you normally ride, but every foot is different, so we always recommend trying boots on. Our boot fit guide explains how a snowboard boot should fit, or book a free fitting at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293.
Can I heat mould the K2 Maysis?
Yes. The Intuition Control Foam 3D liner is heat mouldable, and we heat mould it for free when you buy these boots in store.
How stiff is the K2 Maysis?
K2 rates it 7/10 on its flex scale: mid-stiff, with enough support for all-mountain charging and enough give for freestyle. The Endo 3.0 heel counter is designed to keep that flex consistent over the life of the boot.
What is Conda lacing on the K2 Maysis?
Conda is K2's internal liner lacing powered by BOA. It pulls your heel into the heel pocket and hugs your ankle for hold, while still letting the boot flex naturally.
About K2
K2 started in Washington State in 1962 and calls itself the original American ski and snowboard brand. More than 60 years on, freeride is still at the core of what it builds, and its boot range is where a lot of the fit thinking shows up: Intuition foam liners, BOA Fit Systems, K2's own Endo construction and Harshmellow damping, all built around getting your foot comfortable and locked in.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
