K2 Edition Snowboard Binding 2027 | Grey
Grey K2 Edition 2027: A Versatile Mid-Flex Binding in a Modern Finish.
For riders who want one binding that handles whatever the day throws at them, the Grey K2 Edition is a smart choice. K2 builds the 2027 Edition as an all-mountain snowboard binding for intermediate to expert riders, gives it a 6/10 rating on its flex scale, and fits it with some of the most adaptable components in its range.
Riding it, you get support without stiffness. The AM1 highback has a light, asymmetric shape and a predictable mid flex, the SD1 ankle strap mixes flex and response, and the dual density BetterWrap toe strap fits snugly on any boot. The This Grips! basepad and a Sugarcane EVA footbed with Harshmellow pods soak up the bumps. Forward lean adjusts without tools from 0° to 7°. The Grey colourway is a subtle, modern tone that sits well on any board.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Module Chassis: keeps your board's natural flex underfoot, with MultiMount ankle strap positions to fine-tune the fit
✅ AM1 Highback: lightweight and asymmetrically shaped, with a predictable mid flex that's easy to ride all day
✅ SD1 Ankle Strap: a lightweight strap that balances flex for tweaking with response for edge control
✅ BetterWrap Toe Strap: dual density and made with castor-bean based materials, it shapes to any boot toe
✅ This Grips! basepad: K2's own rubber compound that damps vibration and reduces impact on your joints
✅ Sugarcane EVA footbed with Harshmellow pods: extra cushioning for flat landings and chattery runs
✅ Aluminium ratchets: smooth, reliable strapping in and out
✅ Toolless forward lean 0° to 7° plus a forward lean block: add response for carving or back it off for park laps, no tools needed
Best for: intermediate to expert riders who want one versatile snowboard binding for groomers, side hits, park laps and the odd powder day.
Built for Australian Conditions
On a typical Australian day you'll see icy groomers at Hotham in the morning, softening snow in the park around lunch, and heavy slush and refrozen chop at Buller by the end. A mid-flex binding like the Edition is built for that kind of variety: enough response to grip on the ice, enough give to enjoy the softer stuff. Heading to Japan or Canada? It's equally comfortable in deep snow and through the trees.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Start with the forward lean around the middle of the range: back it off for park days, add some for carving on firm snow. Centre the heelcup so your boot overhang is even toe and heel; it sets with a single tool. Use the MultiMount positions to get the SD1 ankle strap sitting square across the boot, and check the BetterWrap toe strap hugs the toe without pinching. We'll mount and set them up free when you buy in store.
Not for you if: you're after a stiff, high-response binding for fast freeriding, or a very soft binding just for jibbing. Browse our men's snowboard bindings and filter by flex to find the right one in your size.

FAQs
Which K2 Edition size suits my boots?
K2 sizes the Medium for US Men's 6 to 10 and the Large for US Men's 10 to 15. Boot outsoles vary, so if you're near the crossover bring your boots in to 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293. See our binding size charts for every brand.
What flex is the K2 Edition?
6/10 on K2's playful to precise scale. That's a mid flex: supportive enough for carving, forgiving enough for park laps.
Who is the K2 Edition designed for?
K2 builds it for intermediate to expert riders who ride the whole mountain and want one binding for everything, from park to powder.
Does the K2 Edition have toolless adjustment?
The forward lean adjusts toolless from 0° to 7°, with a forward lean block included. The heelcup uses one tool, and we'll set it up free when you buy in store.
Will the K2 Edition fit my snowboard?
It runs K2's Multi-Compatible Disc on the Module Chassis. Send us your board model and we'll confirm the mount before you buy.
About K2
K2 started in Washington State in 1962 and has been a fixture of American snowboarding ever since, with a freeride streak running through the whole range. Their bindings are some of the best-engineered on our wall, and they're putting in the work on sustainability too: K2 says 39% of the electricity used to make its bindings comes from solar, and the bindings ship in fully recyclable boxes made from 95% FSC-certified recycled material instead of plastic.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
