K2 Bond Snowboard Binding 2027 | Black
K2 Bond 2027 in Black: A Playful Freestyle Binding Shaped by the Team.
When someone tells us they spend half the day in the park and the other half looking for side hits, the K2 Bond is the binding we reach for. It's K2's freestyle snowboard binding for 2027, developed with team riders Gabe Ferguson, Parker Szumowski and Antti Jussila, and K2 rates it 7/10 on its playful to precise flex scale.
Strap in and the Bond feels light and easy to move in. The Team Highback gives a little when you tweak a grab or lean into a press, so you're not fighting the binding to get a trick out. The GT1 ankle strap wraps your boot snugly whatever brand it is, and the Module Chassis lets your board bend underneath you on butters and rail slides. The Black colourway is as low key as it gets and blends into any setup.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Module Chassis: keeps the board's natural flex alive underfoot, so presses and butters feel loose and predictable
✅ MultiMount ankle strap positioning: move the strap to suit your boot and how you like it to sit
✅ Team Highback: a softer highback that lets you twist and tweak, with enough backbone to stand on a heelside turn
✅ GT1 Ankle Strap: shapes itself around different boots and moves with you instead of locking you rigid
✅ Wrap Toe Strap (TPU): wear it over the forefoot or pull it up onto the toe cap, whichever holds you better
✅ This Grips! basepad: K2's rubber compound that soaks up vibration and takes load off your joints on hard landings
✅ Sugarcane EVA footbed with Harshmellow pods: grip and cushioning underfoot when you case a jump or land flat
✅ Aluminium fixed-pivot ratchets: positive clicks and a quick release at the top of the run
✅ Toolless forward lean 0° to 7° plus a forward lean block: change your setup on the hill without hunting for a screwdriver
Best for: intermediate to expert riders who spend their days in the park, jibbing, hitting side hits and riding the whole mountain with a freestyle mindset, and want a snowboard binding that lets them move.
Built for Australian Conditions
Australian terrain parks cop a hammering. Early mornings at Perisher or Buller can mean firm, icy take-offs and rails, and by lunch the landings are slush. A binding with a bit of give and plenty of cushioning is the right tool for that, and the Bond's damping basepad takes the edge off frozen landings and refrozen chop at Thredbo or Hotham late in the day. On a Japan or Canada trip it's at home in tree runs and pillow lines where you want to stay loose.
Setup Tips from the Shop
For park riding, start with the forward lean low or at zero and add a little at a time if you want more heelside response. Set the heelcup so your boot sits centred over the board, with toe and heel overhang roughly even; it adjusts with a #3 Phillips head screwdriver. Slide the ankle strap through the MultiMount positions until the padding sits square across your ankle, then decide whether the toe strap works best over the top or as a toe cap with your boots. We'll mount and set them up free when you buy in store.
Not for you if: you mostly ride fast, carve hard and chase freeride lines, where you'll want a firmer, more precise binding. Browse our men's snowboard bindings and use the filters to find a stiffer binding in your size.

FAQs
What size K2 Bond binding do I need?
On K2's chart the Medium covers US Men's 6 to 10 and the Large covers US Men's 10 to 15. A US 10 sits on the line, and outsoles vary from brand to brand, so bring your boots to 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and we'll strap them in, or call us on 03 9421 2293. Our binding size charts cover every brand we stock.
How stiff is the K2 Bond binding?
K2 rates the Bond 7/10 on its playful to precise scale. The feel comes from the softer Team Highback and the flexible GT1 ankle strap, which is why K2 positions the Bond as the freestyle binding of its men's range.
Is the K2 Bond a good park binding?
That's what it's built for. K2 developed it with team riders Gabe Ferguson, Parker Szumowski and Antti Jussila, and it suits rails, boxes, side hits and jumps while still holding up for laps of the whole mountain.
Will the K2 Bond fit my snowboard?
K2 fits the Bond's Module Chassis with its Multi-Compatible Disc. Send us your board model or bring the board in and we'll confirm the mount before you buy.
How do I adjust the forward lean on the K2 Bond?
Forward lean is toolless from 0° to 7°, and there's a forward lean block if you want extra support. We'll do the setup free when you buy in store.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
