K2 Maysis Men's Snowboard Boot 2027 | Grey
Grey K2 Maysis 2027: A Proven All-Mountain BOA Boot in a Low-Key Colour.
The Grey K2 Maysis is a great pick if you want one of the best-known boots in snowboarding without going all black. For 2027 K2 has kept the Maysis a true workhorse: a men's all-mountain snowboard boot rated 7/10 flex, built around a heat mouldable Intuition Control Foam 3D liner and K2's Conda internal lacing powered by BOA.
Strap in and it feels secure from the first run. The outer BOA Fit System powered by H5 cinches the shell evenly, while Conda inside draws your heel down and wraps your ankle. The articulating cuff keeps forward flex smooth, internal and external J-bars cut heel lift, and the This Grips! outsole with a dual-density EVA and Harshmellow midsole cushions the hits. The Grey colourway is understated and versatile, a nice change from the usual black.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Intuition Control Foam 3D liner: heat mouldable medium and high-density foam that forms to your leg, ankle and foot for a warmer, more precise fit
✅ Conda internal lacing powered by BOA: K2's liner fit system pulls your heel back into the pocket and hugs your ankle while still flexing naturally
✅ BOA Fit System powered by H5 with TX3 lace: fast, even shell tension you can fine tune in small clicks
✅ Endo 3.0 heel counter: keeps the boot's flex consistent over its life
✅ Articulating upper cuff: smooth forward flex without the shell buckling when you bend your knees
✅ Internal and external J-bars: extra structure around the ankle to cut heel lift
✅ S'Cafe coffee mesh: a liner layer that helps control odour and absorb moisture
✅ Harshmellow Plus insole: dual-density EVA with Harshmellow in the heel pocket to soften big landings
✅ HDR Premium Synthetics and reinforced rubber toe: a tough upper that K2 says is eight times more durable than standard polyurethane, plus abrasion resistance at the toe
✅ This Grips! rubber outsole with Harshmellow damping: a dual-density EVA and Harshmellow midsole to soak up landings and grip on icy car parks
Best for: intermediate to advanced riders who want one dialled, mid-stiff snowboard boot for all-mountain laps, freeride, freestyle and powder days.
Built for Australian Conditions
Australian snow throws a bit of everything at your boots. A cold, clear morning at Perisher means icy groomers where you need support; a warm afternoon at Hotham turns everything to heavy slush and refrozen chop. The Maysis's mid-stiff 7/10 flex covers both, giving you hold when it's firm and comfort when it's soft. And if your next trip is Japan or Canada, the heat mouldable liner and S'Cafe mesh keep your feet warm and dry on long days.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Fit the boot with one thin pair of riding socks. Snug the Conda internal lacing first to set your heel in the pocket, then dial the outer BOA to firm but not crushing, and back it off a few clicks on the chairlift. Your toes should just brush the end when standing and pull back as you flex your knees. Heat moulding is free when you buy in store, and it makes a big difference to how quickly the Intuition liner settles to your foot. Book a free boot fitting and we'll check the size with you.
Not for you if: you'd prefer a soft, buttery park boot or a stiff boot built just for big-mountain freeriding. Browse our men's snowboard boots and filter by flex to find the right one in your size.

K2 gives it a 7/10 on its flex scale. It's a mid-stiff boot that works for all-mountain riding, freeride and freestyle.

About K2
K2 started in Washington State in 1962 and calls itself the original American ski and snowboard brand. More than 60 years on, freeride is still at the core of what it builds, and its boot range is where a lot of the fit thinking shows up: Intuition foam liners, BOA Fit Systems, K2's own Endo construction and Harshmellow damping, all built around getting your foot comfortable and locked in.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
