Flux CV Snowboard Binding 2027 | Black
Flux CV in Black: Built to Carve.
The Flux CV is for riders who measure a good day by how low they got on the heelside. Flux built it for carving, big mountain and freeride, with a heel cup 1.5cm higher than their other models and a Buffalo Highback braced by two thicker pillars this season.
In Black it looks all business, and it rides that way. Tip it over and the edge bites, hold it and it stays there. New for 26/27, the Heel Up pedal adds support on backside turns, and the Boost FootOn lifts you 4mm for quicker edge changes.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Buffalo Highback in Super Tough Nylon: two pillars brace the flat highback from both sides, and they are thicker this season, so heelside pressure goes straight into the edge
✅ Heel cup 1.5cm higher than other Flux models: more leverage and less drag when you lay the board over on deep carves
✅ Boost FootOn: 4mm more cushion height than the standard FootOn, which lifts you off the board for quicker edge changes and soaks up fine chatter
✅ Heel Up: new for 26/27. An angled heel pedal that helps on backside turns and makes lifting the board easier
✅ Waffle Strap with Beer Buckle: two-layer ankle strap with a cushioned waffle over a power strap, and ratchets with a bottle opener built in
✅ F.T.M. Ver. 5.0 toe strap and L-Guide: strong through the middle, flexible at the ends, and the tail tucks away so it does not drag in the snow
✅ Redux Lean Adjuster and Micro Adjuster: one-action forward lean with fine tuning of about 2.5 degrees per notch
✅ Slide Highback Rotation and Toolless Lever: change the highback angle without pulling screws, and set the binding up with no tools
✅ Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushion: match the cushions to your boot size and board width
✅ Super Transfer Baseplate with 4Corner Stabilizer: the high heel cup sits on a baseplate built to transfer power, and the stabilizer spreads that drive into the board for a sharper backside response
✅ UU Fit: the strap anchors between heel cup and highback to wrap the boot through 360 degrees for a natural, even hold
✅ Multi Disc: mounts on 4x4 or 2H patterns, with 5mm and 10mm offsets front to back and side to side
Best for: advanced riders who live for carving, big mountain lines and fast freeride laps, and want a precise, responsive snowboard binding to drive a stiffer board.
Built for Australian Conditions
Carving is what Aussie groomers are made for. On a firm morning at Perisher or Falls Creek, the raised heel cup and Buffalo Highback hold the edge when lesser bindings start to chatter. And when you take it to Hokkaido or Hakuba for the deep stuff, the Boost FootOn and Heel Up keep you driving through heavy snow and tight trees.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Set forward lean first: two or three Micro Adjuster notches is a good start for carving, then add more if you want an instant heelside. Use the Slide Highback Rotation to line the highback up with your heel edge. Centre your boot with the Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushions so toe and heel overhang are even. We will set it up for free when you buy in store.
Not for you if: you spend most days in the park or you are still learning to link turns. Browse our men's snowboard bindings and use the filters to find a softer, more forgiving freestyle binding in your size.

FAQs
What is the Flux CV built for?
Flux pitches the CV at carving, big mountain and freeride riding. The taller heel cup, Buffalo Highback and Boost FootOn are all about deeper, faster turns.
How stiff is the Flux CV?
Flux rates the CV at flex level 7, but the higher heel cup and braced highback make it feel more direct than the number suggests. Think precise and powerful, not harsh.
What is new on the CV for 26/27?
Heel Up, an angled heel pedal that supports backside turns and helps you lift the board, plus thicker pillars on the Buffalo Highback for more direct power.
What size Flux CV do I need?
Flux sizing as we stock it: S fits roughly US 5 to 7.5, M fits US 7 to 9.5 and L fits US 9 and up. If you are on the line, bring your boots into 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293. Our binding size charts cover every brand we stock.
Will the Flux CV fit my snowboard?
Send us your board model or bring it in and we will confirm the mount before you buy. We set bindings up for free in store.
About Flux
Flux started in Japan in 1992 with one goal: build the best bindings for Japanese feet. That obsession with fit and feel never went away. Over three decades they have refined lighter, injection moulded straps, tool-free adjustment and some of the most comfortable footbeds on our wall, and today Flux is ridden in more than 25 countries. Plus, the buckles open a beer. Hard not to love that.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
