Flux XF Snowboard Binding 2027 | Black
The One-Quiver Flux. In Black.
If you only own one binding, make it this one. The Flux XF is the do-everything binding Flux has refined for decades, and for 26/27 it gets a big TPU Responsive Stabilizer on the heel side and the Boost FootOn+ footbed. In Black it disappears onto any board and looks sharp for years.
Strap in and it feels light and lively. Lean back and the Retro-Mod Highback answers straight away, push into a butter and it lets you move. That flex level 7 balance is why we have sold so many XFs: park lap, carve, powder, repeat, all on the same setup.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Retro-Mod Highback in Super Tough Nylon: classic symmetrical outside, asymmetrical inside. It follows your boot through the turn and controls twist when you land, so you get support without a dead, locked feel
✅ Super Ultima Baseplate in Glass Reinforced Tough Grade: Flux's medium flex, do-it-all chassis with a stabiliser that turns your input into rebound and pop
✅ Responsive Stabilizer: a big TPU pad on the heel side, built for the XF. Sharper heelside response, wider side-to-side range of motion, and it protects your topsheet
✅ Boost FootOn+: a footbed 4mm higher than standard with a softer centre that cups under your weight, so you can drive toe and heel harder. The surface sheds snow too
✅ Waffle Strap with Beer Buckle: a two-layer ankle strap, cushioned waffle on top of a power strap, cranked by ratchets that double as a bottle opener
✅ F.T.M. Ver. 5.0 toe strap: reinforced through the centre for power, flexible at the ends so it seats on any toe box
✅ L-Guide: tucks the strap tail away so it does not catch snow on toeside turns
✅ Redux Lean Adjuster and Micro Adjuster: one-action forward lean, and each Micro Adjuster notch tips the highback roughly 2.5 degrees
✅ 5-Hole Highback Rotation and Toolless Lever: rotate the highback to match your stance angles, and adjust without tools
✅ Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushion and Flat Bottom: tune the cushions to your boot size and board width, while the flat underside keeps power transfer direct
✅ Multi Disc: mounts on 4x4 or 2H patterns with 5mm or 10mm offsets
Best for: intermediate to advanced riders after a mid-stiff, all-mountain freestyle snowboard binding that does park laps, carves and powder days without swapping gear.
Built for Australian Conditions
Aussie days are mixed bags. Firm corduroy at Thredbo or Hotham first thing, slush by lunch at Buller, and a refrozen run home. A level 7 binding handles all of it: enough backbone to hold an edge when it is scraped, enough give to stay playful once it softens and you head to the park. Heading to Japan? The Boost FootOn+ helps you drive a longer board through deep snow without your feet getting tired.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Centre your boot over the board using the Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushions, then set the ankle strap so the waffle sits square across the front of your boot. Start with forward lean on a couple of Micro Adjuster notches and add more if you want quicker heelside response. Rotate the highback with the 5-Hole system so it runs parallel to your heel edge. We will set it up for free when you buy in store.
Not for you if: you want a soft, noodly jib binding or a race-stiff carving tool. Browse our men's snowboard bindings and use the filters to find a softer park binding or a stiffer freeride binding in your size.

FAQs
How stiff is the Flux XF?
Flux rates the XF at flex level 7 for 26/27. That is the sweet spot: enough response to carve and hold an edge at speed, still loose enough to tweak, butter and land switch without fighting it.
What size Flux XF binding do I need?
Flux sizing as we stock it: S fits roughly US 5 to 7.5, M fits US 7 to 9.5 and L fits US 9 and up. If you sit on the line or ride a big outsole, bring your boots into 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and we will strap you in on the wall, or call us on 03 9421 2293. Our binding size charts cover every brand we stock.
Is the XF good for park and powder?
Yes. Flux lists the XF for park, carving, powder, all-round and competition riding. It is the definition of a one-quiver binding.
Will the Flux XF fit my snowboard?
The Multi Disc mounts on 4x4 and 2H insert patterns with offset options. If your board uses a channel, send us the model or bring it in and we will confirm the mount before you buy.
Does the buckle really open a beer?
It does. The Beer Buckle is a proper ratchet first, with a bottle opener built into the lever for après.
About Flux
Flux started in Japan in 1992 with one goal: build the best bindings for Japanese feet. That obsession with fit and feel never went away. Over three decades they have refined lighter, injection moulded straps, tool-free adjustment and some of the most comfortable footbeds on our wall, and today Flux is ridden in more than 25 countries. Plus, the buckles open a beer. Hard not to love that.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
