Trucks connect your deck to your wheels and determine how your board turns, grinds and feels. The two specs that matter most are width (should match your deck width) and tightness (a personal preference, but most street skaters run tighter, transition and cruiser riders run looser).

Independent is the benchmark — skated by more pros than any other truck brand for a reason. Thunder rides lighter with a slightly different turn feel. Venture is a solid mid-range option. Ace has a strong following in the transition skating community. We stock full ranges from all of them.

Truck width should match your deck: 8.0 deck takes a 139 Independent (or equivalent), 8.25–8.5 takes a 149, 8.5 and up takes a 159. Come in if you're unsure — getting this right matters.
