Soft bindings such as the Flow Nexus or Burton Freestyle are forgiving and damp, which suits park riding and progression. Medium flex is the daily driver, versatile and comfortable across groomers and off-piste. Stiff bindings like the Union Force, NOW IPO and Bent Metal Logic give direct, powerful response for hard charging and performance carving. Most riders land somewhere in the middle, and that is where the best all-round options live.

Boot size dictates binding size, not body weight and not board length. A size 12 boot crammed into a medium binding means the toe strap will not sit correctly and you will feel it all day. We size this properly in store, and we are happy to help over the phone or via chat as well.

Most bindings use a universal disc that fits all major board hole patterns, but always double-check your board's channel or 4x4 system before ordering. We can check compatibility for you in two minutes and save you a return.

For freestyle and park we recommend the Flow Nexus, Burton Freestyle and Rome 390 Boss. These run a softer flex that is forgiving on landings and easier to press and butter.

For all-mountain riding the Nitro Team, K2 Formula and NOW Pilot are strong choices. They sit in the medium flex range that works across groomers, off-piste and variable snow.

For aggressive and freeride riding look at the Union Force, Bent Metal Logic and NOW IPO. These are stiffer bindings built for direct response, edge hold and charging at speed.
