Thirtytwo Basin Fase Snowboard Binding 2027 | Violet
Violet Colourway. Playful Flex. Fast Entry.
The 2027 ThirtyTwo Basin FASE snowboard binding in Violet is what ThirtyTwo calls the next evolution of its binding tech, built around the FASE® Fast Entry System. ThirtyTwo rates it mid-soft and versatile: engineered for riders who want a softer, playful binding with added dampening and flex, without sacrificing durability. Comfy laps, max board feel, and you're strapped in while everyone else is still sitting in the snow.
Violet brings a bold pop of colour to your setup. Underneath it's the full Basin FASE: a softer, damp, board-feel-first binding that makes every lap easy.
What Is FASE®?
FASE® stands for Fast Entry System: a true two-strap binding that's faster to get into, without giving up the hold you'd get from a traditional binding. FASE is shared across the Nidecker Group's binding brands: ThirtyTwo, Jones, Rome and Bataleon. Here's how it works on the Basin:
- AutoBack highback. Hands-free entry: it closes automatically as your boot goes in and opens when it's time to unstrap. It also folds flat for skating, chairlifts and storage.
- Locked-In Toe Strap. Set it once and leave it. It's designed to stay in position to work with the fast-entry system.
- FastStrap. A long ankle ladder that stays connected, so you can strap in with one hand.
About ThirtyTwo
ThirtyTwo was founded by snowboarders in 1995, and snowboard boots have always been at the heart of the brand. Its FASE binding line started with the T32M, and the Basin FASE is the new, softer addition for 2027.

Size Guide
| Size | US Men's | US Women's | UK | EU | Mondo (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| M | 8.5 – 10.5 | 10 – 12 | 7.5 – 9.5 | 41.5 – 44 | 26.5 – 28.5 |

Sizing tip: Size off your snowboard boot, not your street shoe. If you're between sizes, the boot's outer footprint decides it: chunky or heavily padded boots may need the bigger size. Your heel should seat fully in the heelcup, with toe and heel overhang balanced across the board. Not sure? Bring your boots into our Richmond store and we'll fit them on the spot.
Who It's For
Ride it if: you want a softer, playful binding with plenty of board feel and dampening, plus fast entry so you spend more time riding.
Look elsewhere if: you want more response. The mid-stiff ThirtyTwo T32M FASE is ThirtyTwo's responsive all-rounder, and the T32M XLT FASE is its most responsive binding.

FAQ
How does the ThirtyTwo Basin FASE work?
Set your toe strap once with the Locked-In Toe Strap. Slide your boot in and the AutoBack highback closes behind you, then ratchet the FastStrap ankle strap with one hand. To get out, open the ankle strap and lift your heel.
What's the difference between the Basin FASE and the T32M FASE?
ThirtyTwo rates the Basin FASE mid-soft and the T32M FASE mid-stiff. The Basin uses a moulded Foundation Foam baseplate for dampening and board feel, so it's the softer, more playful option. Both use the same FASE® fast-entry system.
Will it work with my boots and board?
Yes. FASE works with any snowboard boot, and the Basin is compatible with Channel, 4x4 and 2x4 boards.
What size Basin FASE do I need?
Small fits US men's 5–8, Medium fits 8.5–10.5 and Large fits 11–14. Women's, UK, EU and Mondo sizes are in the size guide above.
Soft flex. Max board feel. Fast in, every lap.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
