These Burton base layer pants are the best! Super comfy and a good fit.

I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

Ride Lasso Pro Men's Snowboard Boot | 2026

Charge Everything. Compromise Nothing.

The Ride Lasso Pro is the boot that advanced riders come back to season after season — not because it's flashy, but because it works. Built for riders who have outgrown forgiving flex and want a boot that delivers immediate, precise response when they push it hard, the Lasso Pro is the all-mountain workhorse of the Ride boot line. Groomers, steeps, powder, park — it doesn't matter. Put your foot down and this boot transfers the intention directly to your edge without hesitation.

The fit system is where the Lasso Pro earns its reputation. The H4 BOA Coiler delivers uniform shell closure across the whole boot, while the BOA Tongue Tied Hybrid Harness goes further than a standard Tongue Tied setup — it integrates an additional upper harness around the ankle that works alongside the tongue guides for an ultra-secure, pressure-point-free lockdown that a single-dial boot simply cannot match. Cored Ankle Pockets are anatomically shaped into the shell for heel precision, and Internal and External J Bars add ankle and heel hold at two independent points. The result is a boot that feels locked in from the moment you click into your binding.

Inside, the Intuition Dream Liner is the most advanced liner in the Ride all-mountain range — multi-density foam built around a supportive skeletal structure for maximum rebound, plus a 4mm sole and roomy toe box that accommodates high insteps, wide forefeet, and aggressive arches without sacrificing hold. Black Gold liner mesh regulates temperature and kills odour naturally. The shell is built with HDR Premium Synthetics and a HI Rebound TPU heel counter for long-term durability and consistent flex season after season. Underfoot, the Michelin Hybrid Fiberlite Sole is the real deal — proprietary Michelin rubber compounds with ECO +Slime Midsole that grips hard snow and carves groomed cord like the boot was born for it.

Why Ride the Ride Lasso Pro?
✅ H4 BOA Coiler + Tongue Tied Hybrid Harness – Dual closure system: H4 BOA for uniform shell fit, Tongue Tied Hybrid Harness for tongue-integrated ankle lockdown with an added upper harness — the most secure fit system in Ride's all-mountain lineup
✅ Aggressive Flex (8/10) – Stiff enough to charge steeps, groomers, and big freeride terrain at speed; responsive enough to feel every edge input without lag or slop
✅ Intuition Dream Liner – Multi-density foam in a supportive skeletal structure for maximum rebound and all-day performance; roomy toe box for high insteps and wide forefeet without losing precision
✅ Cored Ankle Pockets – Anatomically shaped shell pockets that deliver ultimate heel hold at the shell level before the liner even does its job
✅ Internal + External J Bars – Dual-point ankle and heel hold system; more coverage, more security, zero heel lift
✅ Black Gold Liner Mesh – Bamboo charcoal-infused material that wicks moisture, controls odour, and regulates temperature across consecutive days of hard riding
✅ Michelin Hybrid Fiberlite Sole – Proprietary Michelin rubber compounds with WIC and OC rubber, ECO +Slime Midsole for grip, cushioning, and board feel that outperforms standard rubber outsoles
✅ HDR Premium Synthetics Shell – Ride's premium PU material with proprietary resin for unmatched wear resistance in the high-abrasion zones where binding hardware and edges do the most damage
✅ HI Rebound TPU Heel Counter – External thermoplastic heel counter that generates lively flex season after season and holds structural integrity longer than standard counters
✅ Heat Reflective Foil – Redirects heat back into the toe and underfoot; essential for long lift rides and cold early-morning runs
✅ IN2GRATED Construction – Liner factory-molded inside the shell; lightest, shortest, most efficient net fit on the market with minimal pack-out across the whole season
✅ Removable Liner – Pull the liner after wet days, dry them properly, and put fresh boots on the next morning — a simple detail that extends liner life significantly

Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I order?
The Lasso Pro fits true to your US men's sneaker size. Snowboard boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes lightly grazing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel locked down with minimal lift. That's not too small, that's correct. When you bend your knees into a riding stance your heel drops, toes pull back slightly, and the boot wraps your foot properly. The Dream Liner's roomy toe box means riders with wider forefeet or high insteps often find the Lasso Pro more comfortable than tighter-fitting stiff boots. Not sure on sizing? Our full boot fit guide at twelveboardstore.com.au/pages/snowboard-boots-how-to-choose-and-fit-guide walks you through exactly how to measure and check fit at home. Or reach us on 03 9421 2293, via the contact page, or in store.

Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. If you're in Melbourne, come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: measuring your foot, checking shell fit, and heat moulding your Intuition Dream Liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. On a stiff boot like the Lasso Pro, heat moulding makes a particularly big difference — it eliminates the pressure points that a stiff, unformed liner creates and dials in the ankle hold from day one. Not in Melbourne? We'll walk you through the at-home process over the phone or by message.

What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?
We've got you covered no matter how you bought. If something feels off when your boots arrive, reach out before you do anything else — call us on 03 9421 2293, send a message through the contact page, or email info@twelveboardstore.com.au. Nine times out of ten a fit issue can be diagnosed and solved without a return, whether that's a BOA adjustment, heat mould question, or sizing call. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots need to be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and in original condition.

Is the Lasso Pro too stiff for all-mountain riding, or is it a freeride-only boot?
The Lasso Pro at 8/10 is firmly in advanced all-mountain territory — it's not a dedicated freeride boot and it's not a park boot, it's the boot for a rider who wants one setup that handles everything aggressively. The stiff flex means you'll feel every edge input immediately and your boot will drive your board rather than lag behind it, which at higher speeds and on steeper terrain is exactly what you want. Where riders sometimes find it challenging is in the park or on relaxed groomer days where a softer flex is more fun. If you're spending significant time in the park or want a more playful everyday boot, the Lasso (medium-stiff, not Pro) is the better call. If you ride hard across all terrain and want maximum response, the Pro is right.

About Ride Snowboards
Ride Snowboards has been building boots, boards, and bindings in the Pacific Northwest since 1992 — over 30 years of obsessing over fit, flex, and performance without the corporate fluff. The Lasso Pro has been one of Ride's best-selling advanced boots for years running — it earned that reputation by being genuinely good rather than heavily marketed. Ride builds with sustainability front of mind, using recycled packaging, Fusion Rubber compounds with up to 30% reground rubber, and Sugarcane EVA in key midsole components.

About Snowboard Boots — Buying Guide

Snowboard boots are the most important part of your setup. They connect you to your board, affect your control, comfort, warmth and how much energy you burn across a full day on the hill. Getting the fit right is everything — a boot that fits correctly makes riding easier from your first run. A boot that doesn't will ruin your day regardless of how good the board underneath it is. At Twelve Board Store we fit hundreds of riders every season across brands including Vans, Burton, K2, Ride, ThirtyTwo and DC. Every boot in our range has been ridden and assessed by our team. We only stock boots we'd recommend to our own crew.

Getting your size right online: Measure your foot in centimetres while standing with full weight — this is your Mondo size, the most accurate way to find your boot size. Snowboard boots use US sizing. 25cm = US7, 26cm = US8, 27cm = US9, 28cm = US10, 29cm = US11, 30cm = US12. Boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes grazing the end when standing, lifting slightly when knees bend forward. A boot that feels comfortable in your lounge room is too big for the mountain.

Volume matters as much as length: Low volume boots suit narrow, low-arch feet. High volume suits wide feet or high arches. Getting volume wrong causes pressure and pain regardless of length. If you're between sizes or have a wide foot, contact us before you buy — we'll point you to the right boot.

Flex rating: Soft (1–4) for beginners, park riders and those who want a surfy, forgiving feel. Medium (5–7) for all-mountain versatility. Stiff (8–10) for aggressive freeride, carving and riders who want direct response and maximum support.

Closure systems: Traditional lace is still the most popular — micro-adjustable, direct feel, lower price point. BOA® dial gives you one-hand precision tightening with gloves on, fast on/off between runs. Hybrid BOA combines lace at the foot with a dial at the instep for zone-by-zone control. Speed lace is faster than traditional lace and lighter than BOA.

Wrong size? We'll swap it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or chat online — our team will give you a straight answer based on your foot shape, riding style and where you're planning to ride. If you're in Melbourne, come in and try them on at 435A Bridge Road Richmond. We heat mould liners in-store — no appointment needed.
