Skins are what turn a splitboard into a touring tool, and a set cut to your board's exact shape grips better and wastes less time than trimming a generic pair at the trailhead. These Nitro skins are pre-cut to fit the Nitro Alternator splitboard, so they go on edge to edge with no faffing.
The Universal nylon plush is built for any location and all conditions, with a balance of grip, glide, weight and durability that suits everything from icy morning climbs to long, flat approaches. Clip in at the tip and tail, stick them down and start walking.

Will these skins fit my splitboard?
They're pre-cut to the shape of the Nitro Alternator splitboard. Skins are made for a specific board length, so call us on 03 9421 2293 before you order and we'll confirm the length of the skins we have against your board.
What does Universal plush mean?
It's the plush material: a nylon plush built for durability and all-round use, balancing grip on the climb with glide on the flats. It suits most conditions and locations rather than being tuned for one.
How do they attach?
They clip to the tip and tail of the board, then the glue side holds them along the base. Peel them off at the top, fold them glue to glue and stash them in your pack.
How do I look after my skins?
Keep the glue clean and dry, store them glue to glue in a cool spot over summer, and dry them at room temperature after a tour, never on a heater. Our team can talk you through skin care in store.
