Nitro Crown BOA Women's Snowboard Boot | 2026
Premium Fit. All-Mountain Freedom. Two Dials, Zero Compromise.
The Crown is one of the most comfortable and best-fitting boots in the game — and the BOA version adds the fastest, most precise closure system in snowboarding. Trusted by top-level professionals like Hailey Langland, the Crown BOA is built for the rider who wants dialled fit, all-day warmth, and all-terrain versatility without ever fumbling with laces. Two independent BOA dials. Custom-moulded liner. Engineered heel lock. From first chair to last run, this boot keeps you focused on riding.
The Dual High Power BOA® Fit System runs two independent high-power dials for zonal precision closure — upper and lower zones tuned independently for a tailored wrap across your entire foot and cuff. A Support Frame, 3D shaped tongue, and 3D heel construction wrap the foot precisely and lock the heel down firmly from the moment you close your dials. The medium flex (~5/10) gives you a forgiving yet responsive character suited to everything from groomed resort runs to all-mountain exploration.
The Women's Cloud 6 Liner is heat-mouldable with Pre-Moulded Thermacell for a custom fit straight out of the box. The ILS Internal Lacing System locks the liner to the shell via an internal harness, eliminating heel slip and liner migration all day. Latex Memory Pads refine the ankle fit further, while the Re/Lace Liner Locker lets you retighten the liner on the slope without touching your BOA dials. The Ortholite® High Cup Footbed delivers high-rebound zonal cushioning underneath, and the EVA outsole with strategically placed rubber impact panels — up to 30% recycled rubber — rounds out a boot built to last seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size should I order?
The Nitro Crown BOA runs true to size — order your standard US shoe size. Snowboard boots should feel snug straight out of the box: toes lightly grazing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel locked down with minimal lift. When you drop into a riding stance, your heel drops and the boot wraps your foot properly — that's the fit you're after. The BOA system gives you micro-adjustable closure so you can fine-tune fit on the hill in seconds. Our full boot fit guide is at twelveboardstore.com.au/pages/snowboard-boots-how-to-choose-and-fit-guide, or call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll sort it in minutes.
Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. Come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: measuring your foot, checking shell fit before the liner goes in, and heat moulding your Cloud 6 liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. The BOA system makes on-the-hill micro-adjustments easy, but getting the liner moulded correctly in store means the boot is dialled from run one — no break-in period, no pressure points. Not in Melbourne? We can walk you through the at-home process by phone or message.
What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?
Reach out before you do anything else — call us on 03 9421 2293, message through the contact page, or email info@twelveboardstore.com.au. The Crown BOA's dual-dial closure and Re/Lace Liner Locker give you meaningful fit adjustability, so many apparent fit issues can be dialled in without a return. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots must be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and in original condition.
How does the BOA version compare to the Crown TLS?
Same boot, same liner, same comfort platform — different closure system. The Crown TLS uses a traditional twin-lace setup that many riders prefer for the feel of manual tightening and the security of a tied lace. The Crown BOA uses two independent high-power BOA dials for ultra-fast, micro-adjustable zonal closure — no laces to manage, no handles to pull, just dial in and ride. Both deliver the same Cloud 6 liner, ILS system, and all-mountain performance. It comes down to personal preference: if you want speed and precision with minimal fuss, go BOA. If you prefer the feel of laces, go TLS.

About Nitro
Nitro Snowboards was founded in 1990 by snowboarders, for snowboarders — originally in Seattle, now headquartered in Hünenberg, Switzerland. From the beginning, Nitro built their boots from the inside out, prioritising fit and liner technology over shell flash, and that philosophy still drives every product they make. Nitro's sustainability commitments include eliminating PVC and harmful plasticisers across their product range, using recycled rubber in outsoles, and plastic-free packaging — small steps that add up across the volume of boots they produce each year.
