Fat boy from 12 Boards

I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

Seriously Underrated

These bindings are seriously Underrated, and Bent Metal are now gonna be my go-to bindings for the next few seasons.

I've been riding for 3 decades, and most recently have had Burton Vita's and Cartels, Now's, Joneses, Union Ultras, Nitro Phantoms and Team Pros, Rome Katanas and other stuff I have lost track of.

These Bent Metals have the response and support of a stiffer binding, the dampening to rival my Nitro Phantoms (with that fancy air injected foam and airbag in the heel) and yet are better straps and dampening WITH control, than my Union Ultras - which now, I will be selling.

And they also allow me to move around on board, for when I want to get surfy carvy.

They were not wrong when they said you get dampening AND underfoot feel - with most bindings, you lose one as you gain the other.

You also get the mini disc for microscopic, millimetre perfect stance adjustment.

The straps are super comfy and conform nicely around my boot, crating no pressure points, and the dampening allows my clapped out feet to ride for just that little bit longer, compared to the rest of my binding quiver.

For anyone thinking of these as an outlier potential options to your standard Union Forces or Rome Katanas or Burton Cartels - these are better in many, many ways.

Take the risk, and get yourself a pair!

Great service from twelve board store, lots of communication and superfast delivery, first bracket board Iv had and i love it, nice and stable but with good turning, dad bod wheels are smooth and roll over anything and the blue wheels match nicely to the board for a neat looking outfit, very happy with the loaded board!

Exactly what i orderes

Awesome fit!

This helmet is AWESOME! The perfect fit, easy clasp, and fab colour have made my daily bike commute safe and more fun! There’s a risk buying equipment online however this has exceeded my hopes, PLUS the handy hole for sliding it onto the lock is a great design feature I didn’t;t know I needed. Wishing I had brought the magnetic light to go with it. Would def buy again.

Flightrisk FR333 Electric Bike

Step-Through Frame. Full Power. Everyday Ready.

The FR333 is Flightrisk's step-through fat-tyre e-bike — designed for riders who want easy on/off access without giving up any of the performance. Same Bafang motor, same 52V 25Ah Samsung battery, same TEKTRO hydraulic brakes as the full-frame FR555, wrapped in a pass-through frame that's easier to mount, especially in urban stop-start riding or when carrying bags and gear.

Dual suspension front and rear smooths out Melbourne's mix of cobblestones, tram tracks, and potholed backstreets. The 20×4" Vee Rubber Huntsman fat tyres give the bike a stable, planted feel across wet roads and gravel alike. Like all Series II Flightrisk bikes, it ships with built-in GPS tracking, geofencing, integrated front and rear LED indicators, and full app-controlled power management via the FR Escape App. Max load is 180kg — enough for two-up riding or serious cargo.

The FR333 sits between the FR303 and the full-frame FR555 in the Flightrisk range. If you want the same capability in a frame that's easier to get on and off — especially if you're shorter, less mobile, or simply prefer the step-through style — the FR333 is the pick.

Flightrisk FR555 Electric Bike

Full-Frame Muscle. Fat Tyres. Smart Tech.

The FR555 is Flightrisk's full-frame fat-tyre e-bike — a step up from the FR333 with a more robust classic frame, larger battery, and dual suspension front and rear. It's built for riders who want serious range, genuine stopping power, and a bike that turns heads without compromising on everyday usability. Whether you're commuting across Melbourne, exploring coastal paths, or loading it up for a longer adventure, the FR555 handles it all with confidence.

The Bafang motor runs at 250W in EPAC-compliant road mode and can be switched via the FR Escape App between 250W, 500W, and off-road modes. The 52V 25Ah Samsung battery delivers up to 100km of range in PAS 1–2 on flat ground. Dual suspension — EXSHO front fork and mid-range rear shock — absorbs the rough stuff, and four-piston TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors give you the stopping confidence to match.

Like all Series II Flightrisk bikes, the FR555 ships with built-in GPS tracking, geofencing, integrated front and rear LED indicators, and full power control through the FR Escape App. Max load is 180kg — capable of carrying a passenger or significant cargo. UL 2849 and UL 2271 certified for battery and electrical safety.

About Flightrisk

Flightrisk is an Australian e-bike brand — founded in Sydney and built around the idea of the Electric Escape Vehicle. The FR range is designed for riders who want personality, tech, and performance in one bike, not just a way to get from A to B. The FR555 sits in the mid-upper range of the Flightrisk lineup — more capable than the FR505 with its full frame and larger battery, and a natural step below the flagship FR777.

FR333 vs FR555 — Which One?

Both bikes share the same motor, battery, brakes, tyres, and electronics. The difference is the frame. The FR333 has a step-through frame — lower standover height, easier to mount from a standstill, and more comfortable for riders who want to get on and off quickly. The FR555 has a full-frame design — more rigid, more classic muscle-bike stance, and slightly heavier. If you're taller, ride more aggressively, or prefer the full-frame look, go the FR555. If you want ease of use and everyday convenience without compromise, the FR333 is the better choice. Come and ride both in our Melbourne showroom.

Real-World Range

Up to 100km in PAS 1–2 on flat ground. In mixed Melbourne riding — hills, traffic, throttle bursts — expect 60–80km. Under heavy throttle or with a passenger, 30–40km is realistic. Range varies with rider weight, terrain, wind, tyre pressure, and temperature.

EPAC Compliance (Australia)

In 250W pedal-assist mode up to 25km/h, the FR333 meets Australian EPAC standards for on-road use. The 500W and off-road modes via the FR Escape App are for private property and off-road use only — check your state regulations before riding in unlocked modes on public roads.
