The Burton Men's Step On® Splitboard Bindings bring the instant connection of Step On® to the backcountry. They're built on the same Spark Tesla mounting system as Burton's Hitchhiker binding, so they mount quickly and transition fast. Fewer moving parts means less to worry about.

In tour mode the binding creates a secure connection between boot heel and binding that reduces boot wear and makes for an efficient stride on the skin track. A negative lean hi-back helps on the climb and locks in for the ride down. This pair comes in Black.

FAQs

What size do I need?
Burton's men's Step On® size chart matches binding to boot size: S fits men's US 6-8, M fits US 8.5-10.5, L fits US 11-13 and XL fits US 14-15. Step On® bindings only work with Step On® boots, and men's and women's Step On® gear is gender-specific, so match men's bindings with men's boots (or women's with women's) and check the chart. Pairing the wrong sizes or mixing systems can cause the connection to malfunction.

How does it compare with a regular Step On® binding?
It uses the same Step On® connection, but instead of a Re:Flex™ baseplate it's built on the Spark R&D Tesla T1 system so it can switch between touring and riding on a splitboard. The negative lean hi-back and Quick FLAD™ tour setting are there for the climb, which a resort binding doesn't need. It's for splitboards only.

What do I need to know before heading out?
This is backcountry gear, so practise your transitions at home first, check the pucks and hardware before every tour, and keep the toe and heel connection points clear of packed snow and ice.
