The Mammut Nirvana 28L Backpack is Mammut's true snow sports pack, made for freeriding and lift-supported ski and splitboard touring. This is the all-rounder size, with room for avy tools, layers, food and water, here in Sapphire/Black.

Mammut's 270° zippered back panel opens the main compartment right up, so you can find anything fast. A separate compartment keeps your avalanche safety gear organised, there's a snowboard attachment plus diagonal and A-frame ski carry, and a dedicated sleeve fits the Mammut Back Protector. The fabrics, including the extremely robust outer, are PFC-free and made from recycled materials.

Will the Mammut Nirvana 28L carry my snowboard?
Yes. It has a dedicated snowboard attachment, and skis or splitboard halves can go on diagonally or A-frame style. That covers bootpacks, splitboard transitions and short hikes from the lift.

Is the Nirvana 28L avalanche-tool ready?
Yes. There's a separate front compartment for your avalanche safety equipment, so your shovel and probe are kept apart from your layers. Always carry a transceiver, shovel and probe in avalanche terrain, and get avalanche training before you head out.

Does it fit a hydration bladder?
Yes. Mammut lists the Nirvana as hydration system compatible. A reservoir isn't included, so bring your own.

What size is the Nirvana 28L?
It's 19 x 50 x 30cm with an M back length of 46cm and weighs about 1.07kg (1070g). It's one size, so try it on loaded if you're between torso sizes.

How do I clean it?
Empty it, brush off dirt and spot clean with mild soap and lukewarm water. Rinse and hang to dry naturally, away from direct heat. Don't machine wash or tumble dry.
