L1 is outerwear with a street edge — a brand that sits at the intersection of snowboarding and skate culture, building technical jackets and pants that ride as well as they look. For riders who refuse to choose between performance and style, L1 delivers both. At Twelve Board Store we carry the L1 range, in stock at our Richmond showroom and shipping free Australia-wide.
L1 (L1TA / L1 Outerwear) came out of snowboarding's deep connection with street and skate culture, building a reputation for outerwear that nails fit and aesthetic without skimping on the technical side. Where some outerwear brands are purely function-first, L1 understood that riders care how their kit looks and fits — and built a range with proper waterproofing and breathability wrapped in cuts and styling that stand out on the hill. It's become a favourite among riders who want a distinct look.
Who L1 Is For
L1 suits riders who want outerwear with personality — strong fits, considered styling, and the technical performance to back it up. The range covers jackets and pants across a spread of waterproofing levels, with a leaning towards the freestyle and street-influenced rider. If you care about looking good and staying dry, and you want something less mainstream than the big brands, L1 is the pick. Works across ability levels, with particular appeal to park and all-mountain riders who value style.
What to Look For
Waterproof / breathability ratings: L1 outerwear comes in a range of ratings — match the rating to how wet and hard you ride. Our ratings guide explains the numbers.
Fit: L1 is known for distinctive cuts — from relaxed street fits to more technical shapes. Consider how you layer underneath.
Features: look for taped seams, pit zips, powder skirts and helmet-compatible hoods depending on the piece.

The guys at Twelve Boards just helped me to purchase three new Carver surf skates for my self and two sons, they helped advise me on what would work best for all of us as we are all at different heights, weights and ability levels, unlike other shops/websites you get to talk with experienced people that know their stuff. I got a great price and the boards turned up quickly and packed really well with no damage. Couldn’t be happier with the service and gear, very happy to recommend this business to anyone interested in these sort of sports. My next purchase will be snowboards and I will be going through Twelve Boards for that purchase also. Great shop.
There is a reason I always keep coming back to Twelve, the service and the brands. The team are super helpful, patient and don't push their preferences, they listen to your needs and experiences and help you decide from there.
Had a couple of Jones boards previously and they recommended the Howler. Who am I to say no!
I purchased two Jones snowboards on-line for my next trip to Japan. Ordering through Twelve snowboards was a smooth experience and they kept me up to date with my order from the time I placed the order to delivery. I would highly recommend Twelve for the best gear, customer service and I wouldn't hesitate to order through them again. Thanks guys!
Incredible company, my Burton Swash jacket was exactly as advertised, great website, good post purchase communication and fast postage. Overall, a perfect experience!
Been able to fit them to my new Jones splitboard now that it has arrived. Bindings look great, attachment was easy. Cannot wait to try them out. Just need some new skins!
