If you are over wrestling with straps in the snow, this is the fix. Kick in from behind, press the heel pedal, and you are strapped in and riding. Perfect for smaller riders who want quick entry without a soft, sloppy feel.

The Tech and What It Does on the Hill

✅ Drop IN entry: the original Supermatic. Push your boot in from behind, step on the heel pedal and the highback flips up. Pull the release lever to get out

Short Aussie chairlifts mean you strap in a lot. The OG Supermatic makes that a step and a click at Buller, Falls or Perisher, so you are riding while your mates are still sitting in the snow. Mid-stiff flex is a great match for our mix of firm mornings and soft afternoons.

Setup Tips from the Shop

Set your strap lengths with the Quick-Set Ladders and note the numbers, then ratchet the straps to taste once and the LSR 2.0 ratchets hold it. Use the forward lean adjuster on the Ultraback to tune heelside response. We will set it up and show you the entry for free when you buy in store.

FAQs

How does Supermatic entry work?
Push your boot in from behind and step down on the heel pedal. The highback flips up and the straps close around your boot automatically. To get out, pull the release lever. It works with any snowboard boot, and you can still use the ratchets like a normal two-strap binding.

How stiff is the OG Supermatic?
Nidecker calls it Mid-Stiff and Versatile. It rides like a classic all-mountain two-strap binding, just with automatic entry. On its flex scale Nidecker rates it 3 out of 5.

Do I need special boots for Supermatic?
No. Supermatic works with snowboard boots from any brand. Just check your boot size against the chart, and bring your boots in if you want us to test the entry on the wall.

What size OG Supermatic do I need?
