Nidecker Carbon Supermatic Snowboard Binding 2027 | Carbon Black
Carbon Supermatic: The Stiffest Way to Step In.
The Nidecker Carbon Supermatic is the top of the Supermatic range: Pro-Stiff and Responsive by Nidecker's own rating, with a Carbon S Ultraback and carbon ratchet levers. You get automatic entry that works with any boot, plus the response an expert rider wants on steep, fast lines.
Step in, push the heel pedal, go. Then point it. The carbon highback is instant on the heelside and the Nylon+ Auto S baseplate keeps enough natural flex so the board still rides like a board. In Carbon Black, it is a serious looking binding.
The Tech and What It Does on the Hill
✅ Drop IN entry: step in from behind, push the heel pedal and the binding closes around your boot. Use the step-in or the ratchets, it works both ways with any boot
✅ Carbon S Ultraback: carbon in the highback for featherweight support and immediate heelside response
✅ Nylon+ Auto S Baseplate: with rockered corners so the board can still flex naturally underfoot
✅ Exo-Kush Pro S Hybrid ankle strap with Active Strap Tech: premium cushioned strap that lifts out of the way on entry and returns to your preset tension
✅ Hexo Toecap 2.0: 3D shaped toe strap that locks onto the toe box
✅ LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock Carbon ratchets: lock as soon as you stop cranking, with carbon levers
✅ Slip-N-Grip and BankBeds: slick entry plates and canted footbeds for natural knee alignment
✅ Quick-Set Latches: tool-free strap adjustment with numbered ladders, so you can repeat your strap settings every time
Best for: expert riders and big mountain freeriders who want the most responsive Supermatic you can buy, with automatic entry that works with any boot.
Built for Australian Conditions
On Australian snow, stiff means grip. When the top of the Kosciuszko Express or the Summit at Hotham is wind-packed and icy, a Pro-Stiff carbon highback keeps your edge where you put it. Then take it to Japan or Canada and it drives big boards through deep, heavy snow.
Setup Tips from the Shop
Set your strap tension once, close the binding around your boot and ratchet to taste, and the auto-locking ratchets hold that setting for every step in. Run more forward lean than you would on a softer binding if you want instant heelside. We will set it up and show you the entry for free when you buy in store.
Not for you if: you are still progressing or you mostly ride the park. It is a lot of binding. Browse our men's snowboard bindings and use the filters to find a softer binding in your size.

FAQs
How does Supermatic entry work?
Push your boot in from behind and step down on the heel pedal. The highback flips up and the straps close around your boot automatically. To get out, pull the release lever. It works with any snowboard boot, and you can still use the ratchets like a normal two-strap binding.
How stiff is the Carbon Supermatic?
Nidecker rates it Pro-Stiff and Responsive, the stiffest flex in the Supermatic range. It is built for expert riders and big mountain freeriding. On its flex scale Nidecker gives it 5 out of 5.
Do I need special boots for Supermatic?
No. Supermatic works with snowboard boots from any brand. Just check your boot size against the chart, and bring your boots in if you want us to test the entry on the wall.
What size do I need?
Nidecker's Supermatic chart: S fits US men's 4 to 5.5 (women's 5.5 to 7), M fits US men's 5.5 to 8 (women's 7 to 9.5), L fits US men's 8.5 to 10.5 (women's 10 to 11), XL fits US men's 11 to 13. We are stocking L and XL in this one. Bring your boots into 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293. Our binding size charts cover every brand we stock.
About Nidecker
Nidecker is a Swiss company that has been family owned and run since 1887, which makes it one of the oldest names in snowboarding. It is also the brand that cracked automatic entry for any boot with Supermatic, and it owns Flow, the rear-entry pioneers. In the shop that means real engineering, proper warranty support and gear that gets better every season instead of just getting new graphics.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
