Jones Aurora Women's Snowboard Binding 2027 | Eclipse Black
Playful Freeride. Built for Her Boots.
The Women's Aurora is Jones' playful, precise freeride binding for women who want comfort and a freestyle-friendly flex that still carves hard. It goes summit to park without missing a beat.
The Progressive Flex highback is stiffer at the bottom and softer at the top, so it locks in carves and still lets you tweak. SkateTech sends your energy straight to the edges. Jones rates it 7/10 for flex and 10/10 for freeride and powder.
Best for: intermediate to advanced women riders who freeride, hit the park and want one comfortable, responsive binding for the whole mountain.
The Tech and What It Does for Your Day
✅ SkateTech: the baseplate pivots on a kingpin like a skateboard truck, so pressure on your straps and highback goes straight to the edge instead of bending a rigid base. More turn power, more board feel, less foot fatigue
✅ Progressive Flex highback: dual-density design that gets softer from bottom to top, stiff low for carving and flexible high for freestyle, with tool-less forward lean
✅ Comfort Flex ankle straps: 3D moulded to spread pressure and kill strap bite, asymmetric for adjustable response. Flip-It compatible for Freeride or Surf mode
✅ Comfort Foam footbed: full-length EVA that cuts foot fatigue, with a 3D moulded surface for grip that sheds snow
✅ ZyTech buckles: Zytel fibre composite levers with stainless steel springs and a triple-action ratchet
✅ Hinge Connectors and pre-curved ladders: faster, easier strap-in
✅ Tool-less strap adjustment: change strap length by hand

What size Jones Women's Aurora do I need?
S fits US women's 5 to 8.5 and M fits 9 to 11.5 (Mondo 22–25 cm and 25.5–27.5 cm). Size off your snowboard boot. Bring your boots to 435A Bridge Rd Richmond or call 03 9421 2293 and we'll check the fit.
Will it fit my board?
Yes. Every Jones binding comes with a universal disc that mounts to 4x4, 2x4 and EST/Channel boards from any brand.
Is the Aurora good for powder?
Yes. Jones rates it 10 out of 10 for freeride and powder, with a stiff lower highback that drives the board in deep snow.
Is the Aurora the women's Orion?
