The Girl story

Girl was founded in 1993 by Mike Carroll and Rick Howard, who left their previous sponsor to build a company owned and run by skaters, part of the Crailtap family alongside Chocolate. The bathroom-sign standard logo became one of skating's most recognisable graphics, and Girl's videos (the Yeah Right and Pretty Sweet era) are landmarks of skate filmmaking. Decades on, Girl remains a benchmark for quality decks and genuine skater ownership.
