The two bindings most riders are choosing between this season are the IPO and the Vetta. Both are excellent all-mountain bindings — the difference comes down to flex and intended terrain.
YES. IPO
The park-and-all-mountain workhorse. A medium flex that stays playful enough for presses, butters and park laps while still holding its own across the whole resort. If you spend real time in the terrain park at Buller or Falls Creek but want one binding that does everything, the IPO is the pick.
Best for: Freestyle and all-mountain riders who want a responsive, playful binding with room to progress.
YES. Vetta
The all-mountain powerhouse. A slightly more supportive, responsive feel built for riders who charge harder and want direct power transfer through every turn. Still comfortable for full days, but with more drive when you push it.
Best for: All-mountain and freeride-leaning riders who want stronger response and edge-to-edge power.
SkateTech — why YES. bindings ride differently
YES. bindings are built around NOW's SkateTech system, which uses a kingpin-and-bushing setup inspired by a skateboard truck. Instead of losing energy through the footbed, your input is transmitted from the highback through the baseplate straight to the board's edges.
