Straight up: we have been informed that no new Evolve electric skateboards will land in Australia before Christmas. If you were planning on one under the tree this year, that is not the news you wanted, and it is not the news we wanted either. We will not see new Evolve boards on the floor until 2027.
We would rather tell you now, honestly, than keep you guessing. Here is what is going on, what is still in stock, and how to make sure you are first in line when the new boards land.
Why are Evolve electric skateboards out of stock?
My guess? In this world of supply issues and logistics, we see things get pushed back by months, unfortunately. Production schedules shift, freight gets bumped, and containers sit on docks longer than anyone planned. It is out of everyone's hands, ours included.
We could chase old stock or push a date we are not confident in. We are not going to do that. We would rather wait for the right boards, tell you the real timing, and look after the riders who are already out there on Evolve.
When will new Evolve boards be back?
New Evolve electric skateboards are expected in 2027, with current timing pointing to mid-year. As soon as we have a confirmed landing date, the people on our First Dibs list will hear it first, before it goes anywhere else.
The good news: Evolve spares, remotes and essentials
If you already ride an Evolve, you are covered. Plenty of the parts that keep a board rolling are in stock right now, and spares, remotes and other essentials are hopefully back in stock soon.

- Replacement drive gears and motor plates
- 7 inch wheel hubs and all-terrain hubs
- Street upgrade wheel kits and street wheels
- Electric skateboard inner tubes
- LED strips and standard batteries

Riding, selling and fixing Evolve since 2016
We have been doing Evolve since 2016. That is close to a decade of selling, riding, testing and fixing these boards on Melbourne's roads, hills and bike paths, from the Capital City Trail to Richmond back streets and everything in between.
In that time we have put riders on everything from their first street board to full carbon all-terrain setups, run group rides and demo days with the Evolve crew, and built the kind of workshop knowledge you only get from having hundreds of boards come through the door. We are an official Evolve repair centre, and that does not change while new stock is on the water.
Evolve is not going anywhere for us. This is a gap in supply, not the end of the road.

Our Richmond workshop is still servicing, repairing and handling warranty on Evolve boards seven days a week. Belts, bearings, wheels, brakes, batteries and electrical faults: bring it in and our electric crew will sort it. Book an electric service or repair.

If you want to be riding this summer, you still have options. Onewheel pre-orders are live for Christmas, and we have been an authorised Onewheel dealer since 2018 with demos in our Richmond store. We also have a limited number of Onsra electric skateboards landing before Christmas, so order now to lock one in.
