The YES. Select Kowalchuk 2026 is a unique fusion of art and performance. Designed in collaboration with skate-artist Mark Kowalchuk, this binding brings bold graphic DNA to a setup built to ride — all grounded by YES’s SkateTech platform. Balanced, responsive, and tuned for versatility, it’s made for freestyle lines, playful carving, and creative expression whether you’re in the park or on the groomers.
The Select Kowalchuk uses a Hanger 2.0 baseplate reinforced with 30% glass fiber for a responsive edge-to-edge feel. It retains a true baseless design for even board flex and features the Flushcup heel interface, meaning the binding interface with your boot is optimized for direct energy transfer. The freestyle highback has a symmetric shape and a flex rating of 6/10, offering good mobility while still delivering feedback for control. The Asym S-Sense ankle strap molds to your boot without pressure points, while the 3D Stretch-Fit toe strap holds firm without interfering with board feel. It’s built to be simple, effective, and rider-forward.

About Yes Snowboards
It all began back in 2008 when Romain de Marchi (RDM) was widely regarded as the most explosive snowboarder on the planet, having successfully mastered Chad's gap and introducing big freestyle tricks into the backcountry. Jan Petter Solberg (JPS) was also pushing the boundaries of freestyle in the backcountry, while David Carrier Porcheron (DCP) was busy exploring and discovering new hits and lines across the British Columbia backcountry. These three influential figures were revolutionizing the world of snowboarding, inspiring generations of riders to come. However, their reign at the top was cut short when the 2008 global financial crisis hit, leading to the dissolution of the UnInc program they had built, and subsequently losing their board sponsor. At the time, Obama was running for president with the famous slogan "YES WE CAN", and this message resonated with the trio as they proposed the idea of building a new snowboard brand. Despite facing discouragement and skepticism from others, they were determined to make it happen. They approached the Nidecker brothers and eventually produced their first boards, which were hand-painted with the phrase "YES WE CAN." Thus Yes. Snowboards were created.
