Z-Flex Aragon 80's Frog Cruiser | 31"
A wide 80s pool shape with bowl speed and street pop.
The Aragon 80's Frog Cruiser takes Z-Flex right back to the 1980s with a wide, stable pool shape. It's part of the Aragon Cheetah series, with artwork from several artists honouring the Cheetah Club, the Dogtown music venue whose wreckage became Jay Adams's local surf break. It's for riders who want one board for bowls, skateparks, kerbs and cruising.
At 9.75" wide, the 7-ply deck gives you a big platform with a kicktail. It runs wide 6.25" powder-coated Z-Flex trucks with soft 90A cushions on 14mm risers, and 60mm 90A Z-Pro wheels. Those firmer wheels are fast in bowls and still cruise comfortably, so it feels at home in the park and on the street.

About Z-Flex
Z-Flex is one of skateboarding's original brands. It was started in 1976 by Kent Sherwood, Jay Adams's stepfather, a fibreglass craftsman who had been building boards for the Zephyr team in Dogtown, the Santa Monica and Venice Beach stretch of the California coast. When Sherwood split from Zephyr he took Jay Adams and a handful of Z-Boys with him under the name EZ-Ryder, and within six months the brand became Z-Flex.
Z-Flex lays claim to the first skateboard with a concave top and to a smoother-riding wheel that helped shape the soft wheels most riders use today. Its current range still draws straight from that history: the P.O.P, Ruins to Roses, Banana Train, Surf-a-gogo and Aragon Cheetah series all take their stories from Pacific Ocean Park and the Dogtown scene. Riders choose Z-Flex for easy-riding cruisers, longboards and surfskates with real heritage, set up to be fun from the first push.
FAQs
What is the Z-Flex Aragon 80's Frog Cruiser best for?
Bowls, skateparks and cruising. The wide 9.75" deck and 6.25" trucks feel stable on transition, and the 60mm 90A wheels have the speed for the park while still rolling well on the street. It's a great all-terrain old-school board.
Is a 31" cruiser the right size for me?
It suits teens and adults, especially riders with bigger feet or anyone who wants a stable, roomy deck. At 31.25" long and 9.75" wide with a 15.375" wheelbase, it's a proper old-school platform. If you want something lighter and narrower for cruising, try a Z-Flex 29" cruiser, and if you want a longboard feel, step up to a 38" pintail.
Is the Aragon 80's Frog good for beginners?
Yes. The wide deck is easy to balance on and great for learning to carve and drop into small bowls. The wheels are a little firmer than a pure cruiser's, so it's best on smoother surfaces and in the park.
Cruiser vs skateboard: what's the difference?
A cruiser is built for rolling and carving rather than flip tricks. The Aragon 80's Frog is a wider, old-school shape on 60mm 90A Z-Pro wheels and risers, so it's more stable and smoother over rough ground than a narrow street skateboard. The kicktail still lets you kick turn, pop up kerbs and skate bowls.
Can I commute on the Aragon 80's Frog?
For short trips on decent footpaths, yes. The 60mm 90A wheels are firmer than a dedicated cruiser's, so very rough concrete will feel buzzier. If smooth commuting is the priority, a cruiser with 83A wheels is the better pick.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
