Taking everything that made the OG the best-selling Vans boot of all time and upgrading every technical element under the hood, the Hi-Standard Pro is built for riders who want that same trusted Vans comfort and classic aesthetic — with the performance credentials to back it up on any terrain. Olive Grey keeps it understated, versatile, and looking right at home whether you're lapping the park or hunting powder.
The Pro steps up the entire package. The V2 UltraCush™ Smartwool liner brings merino wool into the mix alongside a dual-density heat-mouldable core, neoprene toe box, and microsuede cuff and tongue — odour-resistant, thermoregulating, and built to keep your feet comfortable from first chair to last lift. The V2 Harness system works in tandem with the liner for a customised, locked-in fit with extra support, while the Tongue LockDown keeps everything in place and the Powercuff Strap delivers additional stability and response at the top of the boot. Traditional lacing gives you complete control over fit from toe to cuff, and the Instep Lace Lockout keeps it dialled in all day without coming undone.
Underfoot, the V2 PopCush™ footbed brings dual-density construction with a 3D molded anatomical shape, TPU arch support heel clip, nylex moisture-wicking top sheet, and a cored anti-fatigue design for energy return and all-day impact protection. The V2 Waffle Pro outsole combines a lightweight and flexible construction with specifically designed grooves and the UltraCush™ midsole for impact resistance and a more natural boardfeel. Waterproof breathable valves manage moisture one-way — out and away from your foot — for breathability and thermal regulation on the bootpack and beyond.

What size should I order?
Vans snowboard boots run true to size — order your standard US shoe size. Like all snowboard boots, the Hi-Standard Pro should feel noticeably snug out of the box: toes lightly brushing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel sitting down with minimal lift. That's the correct fit — not too small. Once you bend your knees into a riding stance, your heel drops and toes pull back from the front of the liner, and the boot wraps your foot properly. A boot that feels comfortable standing in a shop will be sloppy on the mountain within an hour. If you're between sizes, the half size down is usually the right call. Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. Come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: checking shell fit, measuring your foot, and heat moulding your V2 UltraCush™ Smartwool liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. The dual-density heat-mouldable core conforms to your foot's specific contours — it eliminates pressure points, locks in your heel, and means the boot feels dialled from run one rather than after a week of break-in. Is the Hi-Standard Pro right for me?
The Hi-Standard Pro at 5-6/10 flex sits in the sweet spot between forgiving comfort and genuine performance. It's the right boot for intermediate riders who are pushing into more challenging terrain and want a boot that keeps up, and for advanced riders who want that classic Vans lace-up feel with serious technical credentials. If you're a beginner still finding your feet, the Hi-Standard OG at 4-5/10 is a more approachable starting point. What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?

Many apparent fit issues can be resolved through lacing adjustments or a heat mould. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots must be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and returned in original condition.

About Snowboard Boots — Buying Guide
Snowboard boots are the most important part of your setup. They connect you to your board, affect your control, comfort, warmth and how much energy you burn across a full day on the hill. Getting the fit right is everything — a boot that fits correctly makes riding easier from your first run. A boot that doesn't will ruin your day regardless of how good the board underneath it is. At Twelve Board Store we fit hundreds of riders every season across brands including Vans, Burton, K2, Ride, ThirtyTwo and DC. Every boot in our range has been ridden and assessed by our team. We only stock boots we'd recommend to our own crew.
Getting your size right online: Measure your foot in centimetres while standing with full weight — this is your Mondo size, the most accurate way to find your boot size. Snowboard boots use US sizing. 25cm = US7, 26cm = US8, 27cm = US9, 28cm = US10, 29cm = US11, 30cm = US12. Boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes grazing the end when standing, lifting slightly when knees bend forward. A boot that feels comfortable in your lounge room is too big for the mountain.
Volume matters as much as length: Low volume boots suit narrow, low-arch feet. High volume suits wide feet or high arches. Getting volume wrong causes pressure and pain regardless of length. If you're between sizes or have a wide foot, contact us before you buy — we'll point you to the right boot.
Flex rating: Soft (1–4) for beginners, park riders and those who want a surfy, forgiving feel. Medium (5–7) for all-mountain versatility. Stiff (8–10) for aggressive freeride, carving and riders who want direct response and maximum support.
Closure systems: Traditional lace is still the most popular — micro-adjustable, direct feel, lower price point. BOA® dial gives you one-hand precision tightening with gloves on, fast on/off between runs. Hybrid BOA combines lace at the foot with a dial at the instep for zone-by-zone control. Speed lace is faster than traditional lace and lighter than BOA.
