What size should I order?
Vans snowboard boots run true to size — order your standard US shoe size. Like all snowboard boots, the Aura Pro should feel noticeably snug out of the box: toes lightly brushing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel sitting down with minimal lift. That's the correct fit — not too small. Once you bend your knees into a riding stance, your heel drops and toes pull back from the front of the liner, and the boot wraps your foot properly. A boot that feels comfortable standing in a shop will be sloppy on the mountain within an hour. If you're between sizes, the half size down is usually the right call. Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. Come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: checking shell fit, measuring your foot, and heat moulding your V2 UltraCush™ Smartwool® liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. Heat moulding eliminates pressure points, locks in your heel, and means the boot feels dialled from run one rather than after a week of break-in. If you're not in Melbourne, we can walk you through the at-home heat moulding process by phone or message.
Is the Aura Pro right for me?
The Aura Pro at 5-6/10 flex is built for intermediate to advanced riders who want a single boot that performs across resort and sidecountry terrain. The dual-zone BOA® system and Custom Slide Guide give you a level of fit precision that traditional lacing can't match, while the Smartwool® liner and V2 Waffle Pro outsole make it equally capable on the bootpack and back in the resort. If you're a beginner still building confidence, something softer in the 3-4 range will be more forgiving. The H4 coiler dial tightens quickly and evenly with gloves on; the M+2 remote dial allows micro-adjustments to the instep zone for concentrated, focused heel hold. What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?
