Vans Encore Pro Women's Snowboard Boot 2026 | Black/Marshmallow
This is Vans Snow. A clash of heritage and progression. With timeless style, comfort, and dependable control in equal measure, the Encore Pro is the advanced, versatile women's-specific boot built to perform in every environment — from lapping the park to attacking steep, deep, untouched terrain. Black/Marshmallow keeps it clean, feminine, and looking like it means business from the car park to the chairlift.
The Encore Pro is built around the dual-zone BOA® Custom Focus Fit System — a high-power H4 coiler dial and mid-power M+2 remote dial linked by Vans' exclusive Custom Slide Guide to control three zones of fit for concentrated, focused heel hold and unlimited on-the-fly micro-adjustability. Dial it in with gloves on, mid-run, without stopping — and the BOA® hardware is backed by a lifetime guarantee. The V2 Harness works in tandem with the liner for customisable heel hold and a personalised fit, while the Instep Flex Zone maintains natural ankle flexion whether you're strapped in or walking to the lift. The PleasureCuff™ wraps your calf in supple, cushioned comfort and keeps everything supported all day long.
Inside, the V2 UltraCush™ Smartwool® liner brings soft, odour-resistant, moisture-managing Merino wool together with an UltraCush™ cushioning layer to maintain a dry, thermoregulated microclimate inside your boot from first chair to last lift. A Comfort Flex neoprene toe box keeps things warm and flexible at the front, and the X-Cage delivers superior heel hold where it counts. Underfoot, the V2 PopCush™ footbed delivers dual-density construction with advanced 3D anatomical shaping, TPU arch support heel clip, airflow perforations, nylex moisture-wicking top sheet, and an anti-fatigue coring design for energy return and all-day impact protection.
The V2 Waffle Pro™ Outsole with All-Trac™ Cold Weather Rubber Compound delivers uncompromising natural flex, a weight-reducing impact-resisting UltraCush™ midsole for incredible boardfeel, and a Vans-exclusive lug tread pattern for the grip and traction to scramble the sidecountry with confidence. Heat Retention 360° wraps the toe box completely — between the outsole and liner — keeping heat in and cold out no matter how long the day runs.
The Encore Pro just might be your new favourite thing about snowboarding.
BOA® Custom Focus with Custom Slide Guide
Custom Focus features a high-power H4 coiler dial and a mid-power M+2 remote dial to control three zones of fit linked by Vans' exclusive Custom Slide Guide. Concentrated, focused fit around the instep for precise heel hold and a truly custom feel across the entire boot. Both dials adjust on the fly with gloves or mittens on, and BOA® hardware is backed by a lifetime guarantee.
V2 UltraCush™ Smartwool® Liner
Soft, odour-resistant, moisture-managing Smartwool® Merino wool combined with an UltraCush™ interior cushioning layer maintains a dry, thermoregulated microclimate inside your boot in any conditions. Features a Comfort Flex neoprene toe box for warmth and flexibility, and an X-Cage for superior heel hold throughout the day.
V2 PopCush™ Footbed
Dual-density PopCush™ construction with advanced 3D anatomical shaping, TPU arch support heel clip, airflow perforations, nylex moisture-wicking top sheet, and an anti-fatigue coring design for tuned energy return and all-day impact cushioning. Provides stability underfoot while allowing torsional flex for a natural ride feel.
V2 Waffle Pro™ Outsole with All-Trac™ Cold Weather Rubber Compound
Built for both on- and off-snowboard performance. Uncompromising natural flex and a weight-reducing, impact-resisting UltraCush™ midsole deliver incredible boardfeel, while a Vans-exclusive lug tread pattern and cold weather rubber compound give you the grip and traction to scramble the sidecountry with confidence.

Works in tandem with the V2 liner to provide customisable heel hold, enhanced support, and a personalised fit — dialled in exactly where you need it.
Heat Retention 360°
A thermal retention layer providing a complete 360° wrap of the toe box and between the outsole and liner — keeping heat in and cold out for all-day warmth and comfort in the coldest conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size should I order?
Vans women's snowboard boots run true to size — order your standard women's US shoe size. Like all snowboard boots, the Encore Pro should feel noticeably snug out of the box: toes lightly brushing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel sitting down with minimal lift. That's the correct fit — not too small. Once you bend your knees into a riding stance, your heel drops and toes pull back from the front of the liner, and the boot wraps your foot properly. A boot that feels comfortable standing in a shop will be sloppy on the mountain within an hour. If you're between sizes, the half size down is usually the right call. Our full boot fit guide is at twelveboardstore.com.au/pages/snowboard-boots-how-to-choose-and-fit-guide, or call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll help.
Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. Come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: checking shell fit, measuring your foot, and heat moulding your V2 UltraCush™ Smartwool® liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. Heat moulding eliminates pressure points, locks in your heel, and means the boot feels dialled from run one rather than after a week of break-in. If you're not in Melbourne, we can walk you through the at-home heat moulding process by phone or message.
Is the Encore Pro right for me?
The Encore Pro at 5-6/10 flex is built for intermediate to advanced women riders who want a single boot that performs across resort and sidecountry terrain. The dual-zone BOA® system and Custom Slide Guide give you a level of fit precision that traditional lacing can't match, while the Smartwool® liner and V2 Waffle Pro™ outsole make it equally capable on the bootpack and back in the resort. If you're a beginner still building confidence, something softer in the 3-4 range will be more forgiving. If you're a dedicated backcountry charger after maximum stiffness and range of motion, look at the Verse Range Edition. Call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll give you an honest steer.
How does the BOA® Custom Focus system work?
The Custom Focus system uses two dials — a high-power H4 coiler dial and a mid-power M+2 remote dial — linked by Vans' exclusive Custom Slide Guide to control three zones of fit across the boot. The H4 coiler dial tightens quickly and evenly with gloves on; the M+2 remote dial allows micro-adjustments to the instep zone for concentrated, focused heel hold. Both dials pull to release instantly, and BOA® hardware is covered by a lifetime guarantee.
What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?
Reach out before you do anything else — call us on 03 9421 2293, message through the contact page, or email info@twelveboardstore.com.au. With two independent BOA® zones and the Custom Slide Guide, many apparent fit issues can be resolved through zone-specific adjustments or a heat mould. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots must be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and returned in original condition.

About Snowboard Boots — Buying Guide
Snowboard boots are the most important part of your setup. They connect you to your board, affect your control, comfort, warmth and how much energy you burn across a full day on the hill. Getting the fit right is everything — a boot that fits correctly makes riding easier from your first run. A boot that doesn't will ruin your day regardless of how good the board underneath it is. At Twelve Board Store we fit hundreds of riders every season across brands including Vans, Burton, K2, Ride, ThirtyTwo and DC. Every boot in our range has been ridden and assessed by our team. We only stock boots we'd recommend to our own crew.
Getting your size right online: Measure your foot in centimetres while standing with full weight — this is your Mondo size, the most accurate way to find your boot size. Snowboard boots use US sizing. 25cm = US7, 26cm = US8, 27cm = US9, 28cm = US10, 29cm = US11, 30cm = US12. Boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes grazing the end when standing, lifting slightly when knees bend forward. A boot that feels comfortable in your lounge room is too big for the mountain.
Volume matters as much as length: Low volume boots suit narrow, low-arch feet. High volume suits wide feet or high arches. Getting volume wrong causes pressure and pain regardless of length. If you're between sizes or have a wide foot, contact us before you buy — we'll point you to the right boot.
Flex rating: Soft (1–4) for beginners, park riders and those who want a surfy, forgiving feel. Medium (5–7) for all-mountain versatility. Stiff (8–10) for aggressive freeride, carving and riders who want direct response and maximum support.
Closure systems: Traditional lace is still the most popular — micro-adjustable, direct feel, lower price point. BOA® dial gives you one-hand precision tightening with gloves on, fast on/off between runs. Hybrid BOA combines lace at the foot with a dial at the instep for zone-by-zone control. Speed lace is faster than traditional lace and lighter than BOA.
Wrong size? We'll swap it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or chat online — our team will give you a straight answer based on your foot shape, riding style and where you're planning to ride. If you're in Melbourne, come in and try them on at 435A Bridge Road Richmond. We heat mould liners in-store — no appointment needed.
